Urban gardening has been used as a practical theme for science education. However, limited research exists on the use of this remote delivery laboratory education during COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, study investigated effects introducing agriCHEMture—a home-based, urban gardening-themed e-learning material—on students' General Chemistry achievement within learning environment. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was utilised. Fifty-one senior high school students...

Abstract One of the problems involved in increasing photopolymer sensitivity, is oxygen inhibition. In this paper we present a photochemical process which two dye-sensitizer photoinitiator system leads to suppression inhibiting effect oxygen. Additionally, presents possibility panchromatic with light sensitivity green and red lines. Diffraction efficiencies 40% 514 633 nm lines are obtained less than 10 mJ cm−2.

Due to the demands of better (accurate and precise) analytical results using X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) at Aerosol Laboratory, Instituto de Física, UNAM, it was necessary carry out improvements in instrumentation procedures x-ray spectrometer located this facility. A new turbomolecular vacuum system installed, which allows reaching working pressure a shorter time. Characteristic x-rays are registered with Silicon Drift Detector, or SDD, (8 mm thick Be window, 140 eV 5.9 keV resolution),...

Elemental analyses of samples Mexican varieties dried chili peppers were carried out using X-ray Fluorescence (XRF). Several specimens Capsicum annuum L., chinense, and pubescens analyzed the results compared to previous studies elemental contents in other (ancho, morita, chilpotle, guajillo, pasilla, árbol). The first set was bought packaged markets. In present work, study focuses on home-grown árbol chilpotle varieties, commercial habanero (Capsicum chinense), as well manzano pubescencs)....

Abstract Fractal development during polymerization of a dimethacrylate system (Bis‐GMA/TEGDMA) has been studied through the analysis time series obtained sequentially by pulsed photoacoustics. The photoacoustic signals as in situ photopolymerization Bis‐GMA/TEDGMA were analyzed rescaled range analysis, dispersion and detrended fluctuation methods. reveals presence more than one scaling parameter and, therefore, belongs to complex process known multifractal. evolution fractality was compared...

In this paper we present the experimental results obtained for optimization of an acrylamide photopolymer use in real time holography. The optimum energetic sensitivity is by decreasing inhibition time, which achieved including a second sensitizing system, and carrying out pre-exposure. way it possible to eliminate all oxygen sample fundamental cause process. We have 3 mJ/cm2 at 633 nm.
