Relevance. African swine fever (ASF) is a viral hemorrhagic disease with exceptionally high mortality in members of the family Suidae , serious economic consequences associated production losses, trade restrictions and eradication programs. To date, no effective commercial vaccine against ASF has been developed. Of particular interest design candidate vaccines are vectors, adenoassociated virus 2nd serotype (AAV2), which successfully proven itself as gene therapy agent. We previously...
The results of evaluating the functionality bicistronic constructs based on adeno-associated vector (AAV2) containing ASF virus B646L-CP530R and E183L-CP204L genes are presented. It was found that AAV2 is able to efficiently transduce porcine embryonic kidney (SPEV) cells induce co-expression cistrons, which confirmed by presence corresponding mature proteins — p72, pp62, p54, p30 in culture lysate 48-72 h after transduction.
