The microscopic theory of irreversible processes that we developed is summarized and illustrated, using as a simple example the Friedrichs model. Our approach combines Poincaré's point view (dynamical interpretation irreversibility) with Gibbs-Einstein ensemble view. It essentially consists in nonunitary transformation based on symmetry properties Liouville equation dealing continuous spectrum. second law acquires content terms Liapounov function which quadratic functional density operator....

The use of ammonia in the Ugi reaction is often problematic due to low yields and multiple side reactions. Here, we report tetrazole variation providing a clean, good-to-high yielding reaction, especially with ketones as oxo components. scope limitations this structure–reactivity relationship are provided by performing >85 primary amine component α-amino versatile starting material for further

The compatibility of irreversibility, as expressed by the second law thermodynamics, with ordinary quantum mechanics requires an extension latter. Such a reversible formalism is made possible presence self-energy processes (already found in electrodynamics), which allows for widening dynamics through introduction specific additional variables leading to recognition such processes. A projection technique modeled on that introduced long ago Brussels group defines subdynamics shown contain...

Abstract A challenging problem facing physicists is the compatibility of irreversibility, as expressed by second law thermodynamics, with ordinary quantum mechanics. We present a solution through an extension latter. The presence self‐energy processes (already found in electrodynamics) fully exploited to get reversible formalism. They enable widening dynamics introduction specific auxiliary variables, leading recognition such processes. projection technique modeled on one introduced long ago...
