A 72-year-old man with an oncocytic carcinoma of the pancreas 3 years' duration was treated by pancreatoduodenectomy; 5 and 16 months later, two pulmonary metastases one subcutaneous metastasis thigh were removed. No sign local recurrence or present at 20- month follow-up. It is suggested that carcinomas have a favorable prognosis if surgically.
