The flow characteristics of Taylor–Couette–Poiseuille induced by supercritical carbon dioxide in an annular gap play a pivotal role determining the overall performance rotating machinery. To accurately design structural components machinery and enhance its efficiency, this study employs large eddy simulation method to investigate behavior with within gap. results reveal that vortices are predominantly generated near inner wall. Initially, exhibits small swirl vortices, spiral ring along...
This paper presents the results of an experimental study on heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics a novel spiral plate mini-channel gas cooler designed for use with supercritical CO2. The CO2 channel has circular cross-section radius 1 mm, while water elliptical long axis 2.5 mm short 1.3 mm. show that increasing mass flux can effectively enhance overall coefficient when side flow rate is 0.175 kg·s−1 7.9 MPa. Increasing inlet temperature also improve coefficient. higher vertically...
Based on the energy conservation principle and boundary layer gradient transport theory, this paper built a single 20 cm evaporation pan model. In model, both sensible latent heat fluxes of were calculated by Monin-Obukhov similarity function. Meanwhile, lateral wall was parameterized. Following that, model verified continuous 14-day hourly measurements from Gulang Heterogeneous Underlying Surface Layer Experiment. Analysis results showed that could reflect non-uniformity between water...
