Water temperature is an important physical indicator of rivers because it impacts many other and biogeochemical processes controls the metabolism aquatic species in rivers. Having a good knowledge river thermal dynamics great importance. In this study, advanced machine learning based model that fast, accurate easy to use, namely nonlinear autoregressive network with exogenous inputs (NARX) neural network, was coupled Bayesian Optimization (BO) algorithm for optimizing number NARX hidden...

In this study, long-term lake surface water temperature (LSWT) data were used to investigate the impact of climate change on thermal conditions in 25 Polish lowland lakes. The results show that warming rate annual mean LSWT ranges from 0.14 °C per decade 0.69 with an average value 0.44 decade. maximum presented strongest trend, varying between 0.26 and 1.06 (average 0.65 decade). Warming rates observed all seasons but different intensities, increasing spring autumn then summer. summer varied...

Rivers worldwide are warming due to the impact of climate change and human interventions. This study investigated river heatwaves in Vistula River Basin, one largest systems Europe using long-term observed daily water temperatures from past 30 years (1991-2020). The results showed that increased frequency intensity Basin. total number clear increasing trend with an average rate 1.400 times/decade, duration at 14.506 days/decade, cumulative 53.169 °C/decade. Mann-Kendall (MK) test was also...

Abstract Progression of global warming poses a significant risk to river ecosystems. However, how heatwaves' characteristics across complex hydrological systems alter under climate change is still poorly understood. In this study, long‐term reconstructed daily water temperatures (RWTs) from 125 stations in 70 rivers Poland, were used. Bayesian estimator abrupt change, seasonal and trend (BEAST) method was used track the changes RWTs. Moreover, heatwaves, including number, duration,...

Water temperature is a fundamental parameter of aquatic ecosystems. It directly influences most processes occurring within them. Hence, knowledge this parameter’s behavior, based on long-term (reliable) observations, crucial. Gaps in these observations can be filled using contemporary methodological solutions. Difficulties reconstructing water arise from the selection an appropriate methodology, and overcoming them involves proper input data choosing optimal modeling approach. This study...

In recent years, China has been at the forefront of world in development new energy vehicles (NEVs). However, national financial subsidies for NEVs will be withdrawn an accelerated pace with marketization process. Regional policies have become key to compensating this withdrawal; these can renew NEVs. Therefore, paper explores endogenous power blooming from urban level China. We used multiple linear regression method examine influence market and policy found that most effective way promote...

Abstract Considering climate change, coastal mangroves are facing serious threats from rising sea levels. However, whether the largest contiguous Dongzhaigang mangrove in China can adapt to future level rise, which is very critical for restoration and management, has been little known. Using data of historical monitor since 1950s, supplementary field research wetland sediment rates measured, satellite remote sensing, digital elevation model, global models, ArcGIS, we investigated area...
