Hand gesture recognition (HGR) is a popular technique for edge-based human-computer interaction. Dynamic vision sensors (DVS) are often used in HGR systems due to their low latency, high dynamic range, energy consumption, and asynchronous event triggering. While Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs) commonly thought consume less than Convolutional (CNNs) DVS-based systems, this work demonstrates that system on chip (SoC) incorporating CNN can achieve lower power consumption through algorithm...
Programmable Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters (Proakis et al., 2007) are widely used in various fields such as communication, radio, audio, and signal processing. The Reconfigurable Multiple Constant Multiplication (RMCM) modules commonly employed to design programmable FIR filters. In this brief, we propose a novel RMCM optimization algorithm optimize the hardware cost power consumption of module which means lower chip area operating consumption. order reduce overall search space,...
We report the development of a multifocal multiphoton microscope (MMM) system using specially designed streak camera, which is capable providing simultaneously time- and spectrum-resolved fluorescence microscopy. Temporal spectral resolutions have been calibrated to be 6.5-200 ps 1-3 nm respectively. demonstrate applicability lifetime imaging with fluorescent dyes, microspheres. Potential applications include measurement tissue pathology, intracellular physiology etc.
