A search is presented for long-lived particles with a mass between 25 and 50 GeV/c2 lifetime 2 500 ps, using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fb-1 , collected by the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies 7 8 TeV. The are assumed be pair-produced in decay 125 Standard-Model-like Higgs boson. experimental signature single particle, identified displaced vertex two associated jets. No excess above background observed limits set on production...
A search for the flavor-changing neutral-current decay Λ+c→pμ+μ− is reported using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb−1 collected by LHCb Collaboration. No significant signal observed outside dimuon mass regions around ϕ and ω resonances, upper limit placed on branching fraction B(Λ+c→pμ+μ−)<7.7(9.6)×10−8 at 90%(95%) confidence level. in region first time.Received 21 December 2017DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.97.091101Published American Physical Society...
A bstract Forward top quark pair production is studied in pp collisions the μeb final state using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.93 fb −1 collected with LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energy 13 TeV. The cross-section measured fiducial region where both leptons have transverse momentum greater than 20 GeV and pseudorapidity between 2.0 4.5. quadrature sum azimuthal separation difference pseudorapidities, denoted Δ R , two must be larger 0.1. b -jet axis...
The $B^0 \to K^{*0} \overline{K}^{*0}$ and $B^0_s decays are studied using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3fb$^{-1}$. An untagged time-integrated amplitude analysis $B^0_{(s)} (K^+\pi^-)(K^-\pi^+) $ in two-body invariant mass regions 150 MeV$/c^2$ around the $K^{*0}$ is performed. A stronger longitudinal polarisation fraction ${B^0 \overline{K}^{*0}}$ decay, ${f_L = 0.724 \pm 0.051 \,({\rm stat}) 0.016 syst})}$, observed as compared 0.240 0.031...
