A carry select adder (CSA) can be implemented by using a single block and an add-one circuit instead of dual blocks. The is based on "first" zero detection logic few multiplexers. In the modified CSA, one n-bit blocks replaced consisting fewer transistors. This scheme considerably reduces power area, with negligible speed penalty. For 8-bit length, n=8, this CSA requires 38% transistors consumes only 73% power, compared to conventional design, 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS technology.

Supporting efficient and reliable data transmission over wireless networks has been subject of continuous research the last decade. The major concerns were in area security. confronts security hazard during a network. Indeed, it is relatively easy to eavesdrop on video/audio conversations, or intercept modify packets. Anyone with PC access public network ability capture traffic, potentially compromising privacy reliability applications. Hence, mandatory for applications guarantee...

Low-frequency noise measurements were performed on thin metallic very large-scale integration (VLSI) interconnects of three different geometries. These carried out under stressing current densities between 1.0/spl times/10/sup 5/ A/cm/sup 2/ and 2.2/spl 6/ at ambient temperatures up to 280/spl deg/C, in order investigate the dependence low-frequency geometrical shape VLSI interconnects. The behavior these samples conditions is analyzed this letter.

Transmitting high-quality, real-time interactive video over lossy networks such as Internet and wireless is very challenging, because of limited bandwidth high packet loss rates. The packets in a frame leads not only to reduced quality that frame, but also results the propagation distortion successive frames. We present novel error recovery scheme based on Solomon-like code with XOR operations for recovering lost packets. simulation indicate advantage our other erasure-resilient coding scheme.
