Abstract We report the discovery of repeating fast radio burst (FRB) source FRB 20240209A using Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME)/FRB telescope. detected 22 bursts from this repeater between 2024 February and July, 6 which were also recorded at Outrigger station k’niʔatn k’l ⌣ stk’masqt (KKO). The multiple very long baseline interferometry localizations 66 km CHIME–KKO baseline, each with a different vector orientation due to repeater’s high decl. ∼86°, enabled combined...
We report the discovery of repeating fast radio burst source FRB 20240209A using CHIME/FRB telescope. have detected 22 bursts from this repeater between February and July 2024, six which were also recorded at Outrigger station KKO. The 66-km long CHIME-KKO baseline can provide single-pulse localizations along one dimension with $2^{\prime\prime}$ accuracy. high declination $\sim$86 degrees for allowed its detection a rotating range vectors, enabling combined localization region size to be...
The Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment Fast Radio Burst (CHIME/FRB) project has discovered the most repeating fast radio burst (FRB) sources of any telescope. However, physical conclusions derived from this sample are based on data with a time resolution $\sim$1 ms. In work, we present for first morphological analysis raw voltage 118 bursts 32 CHIME/FRB's sources. We do not find significant correlations amongst fluence, dispersion measure (DM), rate, and duration. Performing...
The electron detachment cross sections of negative alkali ions have been calculated semi-empirically in the energy range 0.147 to 100 Ry with and without Coulomb effect. inclusion repulsion leads satisfactory agreement available data.
The electron detachment cross sections of H- have been calculated semi-empirically in the energy range 2-1000 eV with and without Coulomb effect. inclusion repulsion leads to satisfactory agreement available theoretical experimental data.
The ionization equilibrium of helium is investigated using new and modified dielectronic recombination rate coefficients. results are discussed in the light available data
