The van der Waals (vdW) layered multiferroics, which host simultaneous ferroelectric and magnetic orders, have attracted attention not only for their potentials to be utilized in nanoelectric devices spintronics, but also offer alternative opportunities emergent physical phenomena. To date, the vdW multiferroic materials are still very rare. In this work, we investigated structure magnetoelectric effects Co5(TeO3)4Cl2, a promising new compound with antiferromagnetic (AFM) Neel point TN = 18...

The specific heat of La0.4Ca0.6MnO3 in bulk and nanoparticle (∼60nm grain size) forms was investigated. It is found that the charge-ordered state highly stabilized samples can be significantly suppressed nanoparticle. low temperature data reveal a Schottky-like anomaly at ∼5K for sample, while large electronic linear term (γ=17.8mJ∕moleK2) identified samples. magnetic measurements unveil small entropy as ∼0.255J∕kgK possible existence Griffiths-like phase We argue physics underlying size...

Herein, a feasible method for synthesizing high molecular weight α-olefins (C 4+ )-methyl acrylate alternating copolymers is presented, aiming to provide an alternative approach converting low-value olefin by-products resulting from the ethylene cracking process into valuable products.

<p>Composite sparsity generalizes the standard that considers on a linear transformation of variables. In this paper, we study composite sparse optimization problem consisting minimizing sum nondifferentiable loss function and $ {\mathcal{\ell}_0} penalty term matrix times coefficient vector. First, consider an exact continuous relaxation with capped-$ {\mathcal{\ell}_1} has same optimal solution as primal problem. Specifically, propose lifted stationary point then establish...
