Photosensitizer-mediated abiotic oxidation of Mn(II) can yield soluble reactive Mn(III) and solid Mn oxides. In eutrophic water systems, the ubiquitous algal extracellular organic matter (EOM) is a potential photosensitizer may have substantial impact on Mn(II). Herein, we focused investigating photochemical process from to oxide driven by EOM. The results irradiation experiments demonstrated that generation intermediate was crucial for successful photo oxidization mediated EOM serve as both...
Methanol synthesis from CO2 hydrogenation with H2 produced renewable energy has emerged as a promising method for carbon neutrality. The supported Pd/In2O3 catalyst attracted great attention due to its superior activity and methanol selectivity, but the formation of In–Pd bimetallic phase upon over-reduction would lead quick deactivation. In this work, we elucidate reduction behavior catalysts by using TCPP(Pd)@MIL-68(In) precursors. During fabrication, metalloporphyrins (viz., TCPP(Pd))...
Abstract Feedstock properties play a crucial role in thermal conversion processes, where understanding the influence of these on treatment performance is essential for optimizing both feedstock selection and overall process. In this study, series van Krevelen diagrams were generated to illustrate impact H/C O/C ratios products obtained from six commonly used techniques: torrefaction, hydrothermal carbonization, liquefaction, gasification, pyrolysis, gasification. Machine learning methods...
This paper focuses on issues related to the inspection of spare parts, finished products, and handling defective items in enterprise production. Using methods such as sampling dynamic programming, a multi-stage mathematical model is developed optimize production decisions. A statistical hypothesis testing scheme designed for parts procurement, aiming determine optimal sample size. Dynamic programming models are introduced at each stage process explore necessity inspections impact costs under...
With the global increase in obesity and metabolic diseases becoming more pronounced, And as modern people increasingly turn their attention to healthy diets weight management, foods related loss energy metabolism have gradually become important research areas. This article aims analyze roles current applications of white kidney beans, dietary fiber, capsaicin active ingredients metabolism. Firstly, a starch blocker, beans can delay digestion absorption carbohydrates, inhibit blood sugar...
To investigate the correlation between socioeconomic status (SES) and incidence of hypertension among adults aged 18 or above in southwest China.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a severe neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive loss of motor neurons and muscle atrophy. Genetic factors are known to play important roles in ALS concomitant presence rare variants patients have been increasingly reported. In order explore the genetic within context oligogenic inheritance elucidate clinical heterogeneity observed these patients, we conducted whole-genome sequencing on 34 familial (FALS) probands. one proband, identified...
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of riluzole on survival and changes in ALS Functional Rating Scale (ALSFRS) among Chinese patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Propensity score matching was used balance baseline variables between group (n = 238) control 454). Survival analyzed using Kaplan - Meier curves Cox regression, while multivariable linear regression assessed ALSFRS at 6 12 months. Subgroup analyses were conducted identify potential responders. Riluzole did not...
Abstract Background Specific highly polarized aquaporin‐4 (AQP4) expression is reported to play a crucial role in blood‐brain barrier (BBB) integrity and brain water transport balance. The upregulation of polymerase δ‐interacting protein 2 (Poldip2) was involved aggravating BBB disruption following ischemic stroke. This study aimed investigate whether Poldip2‐mediated cerebral edema formation mouse bacterial meningitis (BM) model occur via induction AQP4 polarity loss. Methods Results Mouse...
This study aimed to assess the effects of different anthropometric indices and their changes on risk incident dyslipidemia among Chinese population. From Guizhou population health cohort study, 2989 adults without at baseline were followed up. Anthropometric parameters including waist circumference (WC), body mass index (BMI), waist-to-height ratio (WHtR), in latter two indices, serum lipids tested after least 8 h fasting. Hazard (HR), adjusted hazard (aHR), 95% confidential interval (CI)...
The exploration of the carbon deposition growth mechanism on biochar is still rare. This study conducted a comprehensive investigation utilizing both ring- and chain-rich vapors. carbophilicity in plastic pyrolysis thoroughly examined this compared to sand, high temperature (>900°C) identified as determining factor for deposit yield. Three types are biochar: monolayer amorphous (MAC), nanofibers (CNFs), carbon. exclusive presence MAC PS-900-Biochar indicates divergent behaviors vapor...
CuS hollow nanospheres have been successfully synthesized in high yield by reacting anhydrous cupric sulfate (CuSO4·5H2O) with thioacetamide (TAA) ethylene glycol (EG) the assistance of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The products were characterized systematically XRD, EDX, FESEM, TEM and BET measurement size analysis, CV, LSV CP. FESEM images revealed that as-prepared had a mean diameter about 500 nm cavity 340 shell thickness 80 nm. spheres constructed numerous nanoflakes....
We report herein a facile Hiyama cross-coupling reaction of arylsilanes with thiuram reagents (tetraalkylthiuram disulfides or tetraalkylthiuram monosulfide) enabled by copper fluoride. Compared to our previous work, this protocol is an alternative for the generation S-aryl dithiocarbamates. It features low toxic and readily available substrates, cost-effective promoter, easy performance, provides good yields.
As a by-product of bamboo processing, powder is incinerated or buried due to its ineffective utilization, which contributes pollution. The large amount waste generated during the processing products cannot be effectively utilized. Meanwhile, multiple recycling leads loss fiber quality corrugated cardboard (OCC) pulp, reducing mechanical properties paper. In an effort obtain high value from powder, this study pulped it using kraft process. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) observations...
