Photosensitizer-mediated abiotic oxidation of Mn(II) can yield soluble reactive Mn(III) and solid Mn oxides. In eutrophic water systems, the ubiquitous algal extracellular organic matter (EOM) is a potential photosensitizer may have substantial impact on Mn(II). Herein, we focused investigating photochemical process from to oxide driven by EOM. The results irradiation experiments demonstrated that generation intermediate was crucial for successful photo oxidization mediated EOM serve as both...

Methanol synthesis from CO2 hydrogenation with H2 produced renewable energy has emerged as a promising method for carbon neutrality. The supported Pd/In2O3 catalyst attracted great attention due to its superior activity and methanol selectivity, but the formation of In–Pd bimetallic phase upon over-reduction would lead quick deactivation. In this work, we elucidate reduction behavior catalysts by using TCPP(Pd)@MIL-68(In) precursors. During fabrication, metalloporphyrins (viz., TCPP(Pd))...

Abstract Feedstock properties play a crucial role in thermal conversion processes, where understanding the influence of these on treatment performance is essential for optimizing both feedstock selection and overall process. In this study, series van Krevelen diagrams were generated to illustrate impact H/C O/C ratios products obtained from six commonly used techniques: torrefaction, hydrothermal carbonization, liquefaction, gasification, pyrolysis, gasification. Machine learning methods...

This paper focuses on issues related to the inspection of spare parts, finished products, and handling defective items in enterprise production. Using methods such as sampling dynamic programming, a multi-stage mathematical model is developed optimize production decisions. A statistical hypothesis testing scheme designed for parts procurement, aiming determine optimal sample size. Dynamic programming models are introduced at each stage process explore necessity inspections impact costs under...

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a severe neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive loss of motor neurons and muscle atrophy. Genetic factors are known to play important roles in ALS concomitant presence rare variants patients have been increasingly reported. In order explore the genetic within context oligogenic inheritance elucidate clinical heterogeneity observed these patients, we conducted whole-genome sequencing on 34 familial (FALS) probands. one proband, identified...

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of riluzole on survival and changes in ALS Functional Rating Scale (ALSFRS) among Chinese patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Propensity score matching was used balance baseline variables between group (n = 238) control 454). Survival analyzed using Kaplan - Meier curves Cox regression, while multivariable linear regression assessed ALSFRS at 6 12 months. Subgroup analyses were conducted identify potential responders. Abstract Background Specific highly polarized aquaporin‐4 (AQP4) expression is reported to play a crucial role in blood‐brain barrier (BBB) integrity and brain water transport balance. The upregulation of polymerase δ‐interacting protein 2 (Poldip2) was involved aggravating BBB disruption following ischemic stroke. This study aimed investigate whether Poldip2‐mediated cerebral edema formation mouse bacterial meningitis (BM) model occur via induction AQP4 polarity loss. Methods Results Mouse...
