Poly(amidoamine), or PAMAM, dendrimers in the G5−G10 range were imaged by tapping mode atomic force microscopy (AFM). Individual dendrimer molecules could be clearly observed AFM images, which showed that these dendritic particles appear to monodispersed, dome-shaped, and randomly distributed on mica surface. Molecular diameter height can also measured from each particle's profile section line scans. The data used calculate molecular volume of single molecule. Absolute weight polydispersity...

Rapid construction of nanoarchitectures high dimension and complexity is what these authors aim to achieve using core–shell tecto-(dendrimers). Self-assembly the core-dendrimer tectons followed by amide bond formation attach shell-dendrimer (see Figure) allows dendrimers so large generationally advanced that they can be treated as spheroids.

Four different types of core−shell tecto-(dendrimer) were imaged by tapping-mode atomic force microscopy (AFM). The molecules based on PAMAM dendrimers, and included G4G3, G5G3, G6G4, G7G5 (the first number represents the generation (G) core, second number, dendrimers in shell). individual could be clearly observed AFM images, which showed that their dimensions increased as a function sum values, i.e., G4G3 < G5G3 G6G4 G7G5. molecular volumes directly obtained from weights then estimated....

Hyperbranched poly(amidoamine)s (PAMAMs), exhibiting various levels of hydrophilicity, were used as modifiers for melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF) adhesives. The modification was achieved either with or at expense sodium hydroxide during the last pH adjustment. Their apparent co‐condensability expected from measured gel times and further proved using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy well 13 C nuclear magnetic resonance ( NMR). Utilization these structures MUF, which are...

We present in situ measurements of the unit-cell volume a natural terrestrial ilmenite (Jagersfontein mine, South Africa) and synthetic reduced (FeTiO3) at simultaneous high pressure temperature up to 16 GPa 1273 K. Unit-cell volumes were determined using energy-dispersive synchrotron X-ray diffraction multi-anvil press. Mössbauer analyses show that sample contained insignificant amounts Fe3+ both before after experiment. Results fit Birch- Murnaghan thermal equations state, which reproduce...
