The phytochemical compounds in the leaf extracts of Castanopsis indica and C. tribuloides were evaluated, their antioxidant antimicrobial potential assessed. TPC was found to be 193.12 159.49 mg GAE g−1 dry weight, TFC 108.12 96.49 QE for tribuloides, respectively. had higher DPPH scavenging activity, with an IC50 value 15.10 μg mL−1. Both showed substantial activity against tested bacteria. GC-MS analysis presence 76 VoCs leaf, 71 tribuloides.
