After adjustment for confounding factors, was (both subtypes) compared never smoking. Smoking intensity those who identified as currently burden ever smoked were higher incidence Lung function evaluated by spirometry did significantly influence these associations. The risk developing decreased more years after cessation, than 20 required to reach comparable that cigarettes both it independent from influences on lung function. Long-term is necessary prevent onset people smoke cigarettes.
