Clinical study of domestically developed technology of remote programming for movement disorders

ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the clinical values and suggestions for use of domestically developed technology remote programming patients with movement disorders. Methods A total 56 disorders underwent implantation manufactured devices deep brain stimulation (DBS) at Department Neurosurgery, Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University from February 2016 October 2017. All received programing post surgery. The types were summarized side effects analyzed. Results Among all in this study, adjustment voltage was conducted 52 cases, authority management 45, frequency 30, pulse width change 15, battery check 8, fault detect handing 5, contact 3, startup shutdown MRI scan or other reasons 3 cycling pattern 2 cases. Conclusions Domestically could help resolve some problems disorders, which seems be correlated controllable thus worthy popularization application practice.
