ABSTRACT
:Objective To study thefeature of MIG and IFN-γ obtained from PBMCsstimulated with Mtb specific antigens the potential value in differentialdiagnosis active pulmonary tuberculosis bacterial pneumonia primary lungcancer. Methods 90 patients 31 withbacterial lung cancer were enrolled. IFN-γinsupernatants PBMCs stimulated Mycobacterium tuberculosis-specific wereanalyzed Bender Flowcytomix on flow cytometry. The diagnostic values establishedbased receiver operating characteristic curve analysis. Results withMtb-specific produced significantly higher levels compared level TB was significantlyhigher than controls(3023.0 pg/ml vs 112.5 pg/ml, P <0.0001). IFN-γtestswere positive 96. 8 86. 7% patients, specificity up to 94. 4 and87. 1%. With combination IFN-γtests, rateincreased among 97. 8% without a significant decrease specificity. Conclusions responses IFN-γagainst Mtb-specificantigens could be used discriminate newly-treated fiombacterial cancer. Combination might simple quick approach diagnosis newly-treatedactive tuberculosis.
