ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the pyrethroid resistance in malarial vector Anopheles sinensis and association with kdr mutation. Methods The insecticide impregnated papers contact method recommended by WHO was used to observe knockdown rate mortality of Anopheles, Leu-Phc mutation sodium channel gene detected polymerase chain reaction sequencing. Results Insecticide susceptibility bioassay results showed that mortalities from all three localities were lower than 95% on both deltamethrin cyfluthrin. had Huaibin County cyfluthrin Yongcheng City. tested Tongbai between 80%-95%. There is no relationship phenotype cyfluthrin(χ12 = 2. 955 ,χ22 0. 000, P > 05 ). Conclusion apparently does not play an important role An. sinensis, further studies are needed determine precise mechanisms involved. Key words: Anopheles; Resistance; Pyrethroid
