Multicomponent polymerization based on Passerini reaction is described. Room temperature of dicarboxyl acid, monoaldehyde, and diisocyanide leads to the formation a new type sequence regulated poly(ester-amide)s in an efficient one-pot process. The was confirmed be stepwise mechanism, resulting polymers were characterized determined linear with backbone repeating unit ester–ester–amide–amide. When functional aldehydes used, side groups could easily introduced at same time, providing simple...

We report a facile strategy for the synthesis, functionalization, and controlled degradation of high molecular weight polyesters based on itaconic acid (IA) 10-undecenol. A diene monomer, di(10-undecenyl) itaconate (DUI), was synthesized from IA 10-undecenol by esterification reaction. The acyclic metathesis (ADMET) polymerization DUI conducted with Grubbs first-generation catalyst (G-I) to afford (PEIA: P1 P2). Modification three mercaptans (3-mercapto-1,2-propanediol (MP), benzyl mercaptan...

Currently, many fruits are always harvested at the early ripening stage to reduce postharvest losses followed by 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) or ethephon treatment. However, harvesting adversely affects fruit quality, especially for aroma. Methyl jasmonate (MeJA) treatment could induce biosynthesis of bioactive compounds and maintain quality. In present work, contributions MeJA tomato quality during were studied. The results showed that significantly promoted accumulation volatile organic...

Carbon-based materials are frequently employed as anodes for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) due to their structural stability. This stability enables them withstand the repeated intercalation and de-intercalation of Na + during charge-discharge cycles without significant deformation or performance degradation, thus ensuring long-term operation SIBs. However, high energy density power have been goals Herein, an electrode material combining bismuth (Bi) carbon nanofibres (CNFs) was prepared. Bi...
