We examine whether the sign and magnitude of intra-daily returns have impact on expected volatility next day or over longer future horizons. first let ’data speak’, namely with minimal interference we capture mapping between volatility. revisit concept news curves introduced by Engle Ng (1993). Overall, find that moderately good (intra-daily) reduces (the day), while both very (unusual high positive returns) bad (negative increase volatility, latter having a more severe impact. The...

Abstract All‐solid‐state lithium batteries (ASSLBs) have become a recent research hotspot because of their excellent safety performance. In order to better reflect superiority, high‐voltage cathodes should be applied enhance the energy density solid compete with commercial liquid batteries. However, introduction suffers from many problems, such as low electrochemical stability, inferior interface chemical stability between cathode and electrolyte, poor mechanical contact, gas evolution....

Abstract Among crop fruit trees, the apricot ( Prunus armeniaca ) provides an excellent model to study divergence and adaptation processes. Here, we obtain nearly 600 Armeniaca genomes four high-quality assemblies anchored on genetic maps. Chinese European apricots form two differentiated gene pools with high diversity, resulting from independent domestication events distinct wild Central Asian populations, subsequent flow. A relatively low proportion of genome is affected by selection....

Malus baccata is one of four wild apple species that can hybridize with the cultivated (Malus domestica). It widely used in high-latitude apple-producing areas as a rootstock and breeding resource because its disease resistance, cold tolerance. A lack reference genome has limited application M. for breeding. We present draft The assembled sequence consisting 665 Mb, scaffold N50 value 452 kb, included transposable elements (413 Mb) 46,114 high-quality protein-coding genes. According to...

The group-buying auction is a new kind of dynamic pricing mechanism on the Internet. It variant sellers' price double auction, which makes bidders as group through Internet to get volume discounts, i.e., more bid, lower object being auctioned becomes. In this paper, we analyze under some assumptions, such that independent private values (IPVs) model applies and are risk neutral symmetric, etc., build an incomplete information game illustrate bidders' bidding process. proves for there exists...

Shoot branching is regulated by phytohormones, including cytokinin (CK), strigolactone (SL) and auxin in axillary buds. The correlative importance of these phytohormones the outgrowth apple buds remains unclear. In this study, dynamics a more-branching mutant (MB) its wild-type (WT) Malus spectabilis were assessed using exogenous chemical treatments, transcriptome analysis, paraffin section, reverse transcription-quantitative PCR analysis (RT-qPCR). Abstract Ultrahigh‐nickel layered oxide cathodes (≥90% nickel) possess exceptionally high discharge capacities, which can significantly improve the energy density of lithium‐ion batteries and alleviate driving range anxiety electric vehicles. However, interfacial reactivity ultrahigh‐nickel cathodes, especially detrimental side reactions with harmful acidic species like HF in electrolyte, deteriorate battery interface reduce cycle life, hindering their practical application. In this study,...

Using lithium metal as anode in batteries has attracted great attention due to its ultrahigh theoretical capacity of 3860 mA h g–1. However, the uneven deposition will cause dendrites, resulting a poor cycling performance. Herein, dendrite-free Li composite is developed by anchoring Ag nanoparticles wood-derived carbon (WDC) frame. The integrally formed and enough room for aligned open channels preserved from natural wood, which can decrease volume change greatly during cycling....
