The activity for the reduction of NO with CO, selectivity to N2 and catalytic stability in presence O2, water steam SO2 Cu(II) or Fe(III) oxide catalysts supported on titania were studied. Data from XRD, H2-TPR, CO-TPR UVVISDRS evidenced well distributed octahedral species studied xCu/Ti xFe/Ti catalysts. TG/ATD results Rietveld refinement XRD pattern 10Cu/Ti catalyst corroborated that, during calcination, copper promotes anatase transition rutile, leading a higher decrease its specific...
A magnetic ZSM-5 zeolite with a core–shell type structure was synthesized, fully characterized and had its catalytic activity evaluated on the valorization of bio-derived furfuryl alcohol.
Zeolites are a group of crystalline aluminosilicates with exchangeable cations and molecular-dimensioned micropores, which have successfully been applied to transform biomass waste into biofuels. Herein, the effectiveness acidic H-zeolites in transformation chemical valorization is demonstrated. In this process, Brønsted/Lewis acid sites zeolites catalyze transition carbohydrates valuable chemicals. β-glucan polymer extracted from lichen Usnea was catalytically converted value-added...
The aim of this work was to study the hydrothermal synthesis Si and SiAlMCM-41 performed under both autogenic pressure refluxing conditions. XRD data showed that MCM-41 phase may be formed by processes synthesized material in presence Al and/or reflux presents hexagonally arrangement less ordered mesopores. However, as verified physisorption data, order improved with higher times. 29Si 1H - C/P MAS NMR spectra a great part atoms exists silanol groups which originate resonance peaks at -110,...
An array of Pd, Fe and Ir exchanged β-zeolites were synthesized, fully characterized, their catalytic activity evaluated in converting bio-derived compounds to value-added platform chemicals.
Mesoporous Fe2O3-supported ZSM-5 zeolites were prepared by carbon-templating and subsequently evaluated as photo-Fenton catalysts to degrade a dye used model heavy organic pollutant. The synthesis procedure of the mesoporous was performed employing nucleating gel carbon particles mesopores template. Thereafter, precursor salt iron oxide (Fe2O3) impregnated then calcined obtain final catalyst. For comparison purposes, conventional zeolite also prepared. results showed that amount...
Cu and Fe species formed during the preparation of Cu/ Fe/ZSM-5 catalysts by ion exchange were studied. XRD, SEM, H2-TPR, DRS-UV-VIS, EPR, Mössbauer Spectroscopy (MÖSS) chemical analysis (AAS) used to sample characterization. Cu/ZSM-5 catalysts, irrespective their Si/Al ratio content, showed a reduction peak at around 210°C, which was attributed Cu+2 Cu+1. The Cu+1 Cu0 shifted higher temperatures with increase or diminution Cu/Al ratio, evidencing that isolated cations present interaction...
HIERARCHICALLY STRUCTURED ZEOLITES.This review presents the main characteristics and properties of microporous (zeolites) ordered mesoporous materials, focusing on structural aspects preparation. In addition, their use as heterogeneous catalysts are also discussed, with emphasis advantages disadvantages.Due to difficulty in application zeolites conversion bulky molecules, most relevant strategies synthesis for preparation zeolitic materials hierarchical pore structure was analyzed, which...
