Abstract A new monoclonal antibody (mAb), named 3.9, is described that specific for the p150,95 molecule, a member of LFA‐1, CR3, family human leukocyte differentiation antigens. The LFA‐1 molecule participates in variety T cell interactions and CR3 receptor complement component iC3b, but little known about molecule. Here we show expression confined to myeloid cells. mAb 3.9 reacts variably with neutrophils, more strongly monocytes most expressed on tissue macrophages. Using this others,...

The properties of the mononuclear phagocyte (Mph) high-affinity Fc receptor, FcRI, were investigated using a novel monoclonal antibody (mAb) designated 10.1. This receptor was shown to be protein 71 kDa, presented chiefly on monocytes and myeloid cell lines U937 HL60. mAb 10.1 inhibited binding Mph erythrocytes opsonized with rabbit IgG or human IgG3. It also blocked T proliferation induced by murine CD3 IgG2a but not IgG1 subclass. These results suggest that IgG, IgG3 all bind FcRI in...

The complications that may follow these lesions are discussed. relationship occult popliteal cysts have to discomfort behind the knee is noted.

Abstract Background Functional neurological disorders (FND) represent a significant proportion of presentations to outpatient adult neurology services. There is little information relating patients presenting acute inpatient care. Methods We identified as admissions with FND Christchurch Hospital, Christchurch, New Zealand, from 2016 2018. analyzed relevant demographic and clinical data electronic records measured incidence presentation secondary care healthcare utilization. Results One...

Many different techniques for ankle arthrodesis have been described. Experience at our institution with crossed screws internal fixation has not met the 90+% union rate reported in literature. A compression blade plate is one technique which evaluated biomechanically. biomechanical study comparing two groups of sawbone fusion constructs fixed and plates was performed order to evaluate stiffness rigidity these techniques. The construct demonstrated superior during dorsiflexion (p < 0.001)...

Sequential nailfold capillary microscopy was carried out monthly for seven months in patients (four with scleroderma, one dermatomyositis, mixed connective tissue disease, and limited disease). Progressive enlargement of some loops observed, a number becoming obliterated, leaving avascular areas. Extravasation from capillaries usually preceded loss. These observations have shown the progressive nature abnormalities associated these disorders suggest that is result injury, rather than compensation

Abstract In long‐established rheumatoid nodules, monocytes continue to be recruited and migrate from the outer vascular zone toward palisade central necrotic area. Maturation of these cells is shown take place during tissue migration. We found that great majority express exclusive mononuclear phagocyte phenotypes. Among this population are many bear receptor for iC3b (CR3), but few C3b (CR1). HLA–D region molecule expression intense widespread.
