The natural widths of the Ar ${2p}^{\ensuremath{-}1},$ Kr ${3d}^{\ensuremath{-}1},$ Xe and ${4d}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ states have been determined from photoelectron spectra measured with very high resolution. Lifetime ${\ensuremath{\Gamma}}_{L}$ $104\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3\mathrm{meV}$ $111\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3\mathrm{meV}$ were obtained for ${4d}_{3/2}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ ${4d}_{5/2}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ states, respectively. In contrast, no differences in inherent lifetime width...
The first HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) networks have been recently deployed for operational use. We evaluate and compare live network performance from the end-user perspective, especially related to voice over IP Web browsing applications. goodput with user datagram protocol (UDP) transmission control (TCP) in both wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) HSDPA. also address one-way delay measurements show how up- asymmetry affects jitter. found that WCDMA correlate well...
A new end station equipped with a very high-resolution SES-200 electron energy analyzer has been constructed for the study of gases and soft molecular materials. The is rotatable around direction photon beam, allowing angular-dependent studies. system built in way investigation free molecules atoms, metal vapors, liquid interfaces as well solid films. first spectroscopy results gases, liquids, polymer films are presented.
Quality of service (QoS) is becoming increasingly important with the rise multimedia applications (e.g., voice over IP (VoIP), video conferencing, online gaming, and Internet protocol television (IPTV)) in public data networks. These demand real-time service, while networks should still be able to transfer also other traffic reliably data, e- mail, WWW). We have developed a measurement tool, which measure one-way QoS performance statistics. The tool enables passive monitoring desired...
This paper summarizes the results of our concept development for NFC-enabled wireless charging - i.e., an add-on to existing NFC operating modes that implements power transmission and reception with associated control functionality. When compared dedicated solutions, integration into same implementation will entail more compact cost-efficient interfaces portable devices, a pervasive charger infrastructure in future reduced costs, possibility integrating NFC-based services applications. We...
Although third generation cellular networks are being deployed in many countries, rigorous measurement studies from public have yet to be published. After extensive experimentation, we collect measurements a commercial WCDMA 3G/UMTS network and observe that the goodput of first series back-to-back transfers is consistently below par. We compare these results with those obtained an all-wired show 3G signaling plays important, albeit detrimental role end-user goodput. Finally, illustrate...
We report a high-resolution coincident experiment between the Ar ${2p}_{1/2}$ and ${2p}_{3/2}$ photoelectrons subsequently emitted ${L}_{23}{\ensuremath{-}M}_{23}{M}_{23}$ Auger electrons, where $2p$ were ionized far above threshold. demonstrate applicability of coincidence method when separating different ionization decay channels even in case strongly overlapping peaks. The measurement was carried out with new high-energy-resolution electrostatic analyzer that is capable recording single...
Effects of the open-shell electronic structure atomic Sn on $4d$ photoelectron and Auger electron spectra have been studied by both theory experiment. The $5p$ ${4d}^{\ensuremath{-}1}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{5p}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ spectrum measured from tin using synchrotron radiation for excitation. Relativistic Dirac-Fock calculations carried out energies intensities transitions each thermally populated initial state level. It has shown a comparison experimental theoretical that weakly...
Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 promote a fundamental technological disruption that requires industry, research government institutions to revisit their roles within the innovation ecosystems. Actors in this environment need understand value co-creation during interaction collaboration. The purpose of study is investigate triple helix collaborative capabilities an ecosystem context. case under Finnish national publicly funded project involving five global manufacturers, three institutions,...
The angular distribution of the Xe $5s$ photoelectrons was measured in 90--225 eV photon energy range using linearly polarized synchrotron radiation. experimentally determined parameters were compared with theoretical values obtained from calculations based on random-phase approximation and time-dependent density-functional theory. Experiment shows that dipole (\ensuremath{\beta}) nondipole (\ensuremath{\gamma}) vary strongly as a function energy, accordance account for interchannel...
High-resolution Cl ${2p}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ photoelectron (PES) and ${2p}^{\ensuremath{-}1}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}3p{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ normal Auger electron spectra (AES) have been measured using different photon energies. The PES AES fitted simultaneously taking vibrational electronic lifetime-interference terms into account. Detailed results are presented for the transitions. equilibrium distances, energies, anharmonicities ${}^{1}{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}^{+},$...
The Cl(2p) photoelectron spectra of HCl and DCl have been measured with high resolution. Careful data analysis a least-squares fitting method enabled us to determine the spectroscopic parameters for three spin-orbit molecular field split components Cl(2p)-1states. experimental results were compared ab initiocalculations. values 84±9 meV, 71±13 103±10 meV lifetime line widths 2 1/2 , + 3/2states extracted from experiment. An anomalous photoionization cross section ratio (60%) between +and was...
This paper presents a clustering protocol that is able to identify and manage moving network clusters. Such clusters can enable communication shared use of resources within group nodes, also make optimizations related routing mobility management possible. The detects with stability-based mechanism uses the associativity nodes link quality as its criteria. After cluster set up, individual join leave cluster, several be merged into larger multi-hop features "clustercast" for reducing...

The equilibrium geometry, vibrational...
The high-resolution resonant Auger spectra of Br $3{d}^{\ensuremath{-}1}np\ensuremath{\pi}$ $(n=6--9)$ in HBr are presented. These extremely complex, with very intense shake and vibrational features. Especially surprising is the observation at least five lines for each intermediate state due to transitions into different final-state configurations; this number can only be explained strong nonmonopole which prevent obtaining information on symmetry character excited-state orbital state. They...
