The aim of this study was to assess the international procedural and short-term midterm experience with new percutaneous Venus P-valve.Retrospective data patient characteristics, clinical imaging follow-up P-valve implantation outside China were collected. Thirty-eight patients underwent attempted between October 2013 April 2017. Thirty-seven valves successfully implanted during 38 procedures. There one unsuccessful attempt there two valve migrations, which required surgical repositioning....

Background : Outcome data of children with heart disease who acquired COVID-19 infection are limited. Aims We sought to analyze outcome and identify risk factors associated mortality in grown-ups congenital (GUCH) had a laboratory-confirmed infection. Settings Design This is retrospective, multicentric, observational study. Materials Methods The study included GUCH population, presented either symptomatic or asymptomatic any the participating centers. COVID-19-negative patients admitted...

To describe the technique and results of transcatheter closure ventricular septal defects (VSDs) by a modified retrograde transarterial approach using new Amplatzer Duct Occluder II (ADO II).Transcatheter device antegrade method is well established, but challenging procedure. We that obviates need for arteriovenous looping. This prospective study from single center. Between April 2009 February 2010 13 children were identified various types perimembranous muscular VSDs ADO device. All had met...

Background: Perforation of pulmonary valve using radiofrequency ablation in atresia with intact ventricular septum (PA IVS) is a treatment choice. However, significant cost the equipment limits its utility, especially developing economies. Objective: To assess feasibility, safety, and efficacy perforation chronic total occlusion (CTO) wires patients PA IVS as an alternative to ablation. Methods: This single-center, nonrandomized, retrospective study conducted during June 2008 September 2015....

We sought to evaluate the feasibility, technical aspects, and outcome of transcatheter perimembranous ventricular septal defect (pmVSD) closure using duct occluder devices with a single retention disc.Use close pmVSD seems promising alternative therapy. However, limited data exist on this technique. From 2010 2016, 222 patients (female 47.7%) were identified from databases five participating institutions in whom was attempted an Amplatzer Duct Occluder I or Lifetech device.Patients ranged age...

We report a case of incessant ventricular tachycardia managed successfully with medications. The transthoracic echocardiogram showed multiple cardiac rhabdomyomas involving free wall and outflow tracts. Computerized tomography brain subependymal tubers confirming Tuberous Sclerosis. follow up assessment sinus rhythm regressing rhabdomyomas.

Surgical or transcatheter closure of muscular ventricular septal defects (mVSDs) in young children may be technically challenging and associated with significant complications. To assess the feasibility trans-septal antegrade mVSD a selected subset children. This is prospective study from single centre July 2011 to March 2013. Nine infants multiple mVSDs were included study. The median age weight 6 months (range 4-18 months) 4.5 kg 3.8-6.2 kg), respectively. Trans-femoral technique was used...

Abstract Isolation of the subclavian artery is associated with “steal” blood from carotid circulation to arm, through circle Willis and vertebral artery. When a patent arterial duct, there an additional arm lungs, duct because lower pulmonary vascular resistance. this combination manifests clinically ischaemia on side isolated artery, closure will prevent may improve flow arm. We report three patients unusual phenomenon that improved after interventional duct. This discusses embryological...

Abstract An 8-day-old neonate was presented with severe respiratory distress and diagnosed as primary pulmonary hypertension of the newborn on functional echocardiogram. Evaluation showed bounding pulse, enlarged umbilical cord, bruit over periumbilical region. We report on emergency percutaneous renal artery stenting in two children who developed acute anuria due to bilateral stenosis and near-total occlusion.
