6xxx series (Al–Mg–Si) alloys are generally known to be greatly susceptible localized corrosion, which is closely related the presence of coarse intermetallic compounds (IMCs). In this work, corrosion behaviour two representative IMCs, namely β-Mg2Si and α-Al(Fe,Mn)Si, were investigated in a 6082 alloy (Al–Mg–Si–Mn-based). For phase, rapid de-alloying process primarily observed. Subsequently, their surface will transform electric insulating SiO2 layer, tends suppress further its periphery....

To improve the wear properties of magnesium alloys, a novel technique for preparing coatings using ultrasonic shot peening was developed, and tungsten carbide (WC) were prepared first time on alloys. The surface morphology, microstructure characteristics, investigated. findings showed that this method deposited WC coating with thickness 20 μm hardness 3.24 GPa substrate. A 5 composite layer 425 thick hardened existed beneath coating. formation mechanism can be interpreted as dislocation slip...

This paper investigates the surface enhancement treatment of 12Cr17Mn6Ni5N steel weld joints using Strengthened Grinding Process (SGP) and explores its effect on their characteristics tensile performance. The study begins by examining influence different SGP durations joints' morphology, microhardness, residual stress. Subsequently, properties SGP-treated samples are analyzed potential mechanisms which enhances performance discussed. results reveal that increases maximum microhardness to...

We investigated azoospermia region microdeletions in male infertility patients with Klinefelter syndrome (KFS), as well the association between symptoms KFS and Y chromosome microdeletion polymorphisms.A total of 111 cases confirmed to have (47, XXY) 94 fertile men were included this study.Peripheral blood was drawn DNA extracted from these samples.Multiplex polymerase chain reaction performed screen partial deletions 25 sequence-tagged sites on chromosome. In KFS, 1 case contained AZFb+d+c...
