Abstract Two series of fluorinated chalcones containing morpholine and imidazole‐based compounds ( f1–f8 ) were synthesized evaluated for recombinant human monoamine oxidase (MAO)‐A ‐B as well acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities. Our results indicate that are highly selective MAO‐B inhibitors having reversibility properties. All the showed weak MAO inhibitions in both isoforms. Among tested compounds, (2 E )‐3‐(3‐fluorophenyl)‐1‐[4‐(morpholin‐4‐yl)phenyl]prop‐2‐en‐1‐one f2 potent...

Neurodegeneration is a multifactorial process involved the different cytotoxic pathways that lead to neuronal cell death. Alzheimer's disease (AD) persistent neurodegenerative disorder normally has steady onset and gradually worsens. Neuropathology, AD characterized by presence of neuroinflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, increased oxidative stress, decreased antioxidant defense as well acetylcholinesterase activity. Moreover, enhanced expression amyloid precursor proteins leads neural...

Crystals of a new ternary intermetallic compound were grown from reactions manganese with zinc in bismuth flux. Mn8Zn1.8Bi7.4 forms as silver needle-like crystals that have hexagonal (P63/mmc) structure related to the poorly understood polymorphs strong ferromagnet MnBi. The features disorder involving replacement fraction on specific site Zn3 triangular units. has network atoms undergoes ferromagnetic ordering at 185 K. A copper-containing analogue Mn8Cu0.58Bi7.7 can also be synthesized low yield.

Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) serves as a modulator for neurotransmitters by participating in neuronal plasticity, essential their growth and survival. It also shows wide range of expression patterns the systemic peripheral tissues; thereby, its biological actions are not just limited to CNS but may vital role disorders, such Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Platelets serve one major sources BDNF, which regulates energy homeostasis glucose metabolism specific pro-survival genes. prevents β...
