The 1-MV EMP simulator at WWDBw, Munster, Germany, was developed during the late 1970s. pulsed power system, supplied by Physics International Company (PI) of San Leandro, CA, includes a Marx generator and peaking circuit/transmission line pulse launch system contained within plastic housing (gas box) filled with insulating gas R-12 (freon). Two major concerns have over years since WWDBw first dedicated: (1) venting freon-12 into atmosphere is considered harmful to natural environment, (2)...

A novel pulse referenced error correction method for digital PWM switching power amplifiers is proposed called edge delay (PEDEC). The paper presents fundamental theory the control method, modeling and systematic approaches to PEDEC based amplifier design. investigations are supplemented with comprehensive, low level nonlinear PSPICE system simulation that verify model furthermore illustrates capability towards every source in a stage. first ever effectively eliminate stage linearity...

This paper presents a high power efficient class-D audio amplifier. The proposed amplifier adopts the synchronized controlled oscillation modulator (SCOM), which is suitable for mobile applications. THD+N at half maximum output below 0.01% and efficiency better than 92% in an 8 /spl Omega/ speaker load. one-chip integrated circuit implemented 0.35 mu/m CMOS technology, with supply voltage range of 1.6 V-3.6 V. it occupies chip area 1.2/spl times/1.2 mm/sup 2/ dissipates only 1.3 mA idle.

Purpose This paper aims to address the necessity of allowing non-formal and informal processes unfold when using business games for leadership development. While simulations have long been used in management training development, emphasis has placed on formal parts process especially gaming experience. Design/methodology/approach is based a qualitative study French game change management, which game-based learning examined light adult learning. Findings concludes that less dialogues stem...

The 6 MV, 400 kA accelerator KALIF-HELIA is presently under construction at the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe. It based on a design that couples self-magnetically insulated transmission line with linac induction principle. can be used in either polarity for generation of an ion- or electron beam respectively. In positive improvement quality intense light ion beams will most important research area. Beam divergence scaling laws voltage and mass investigated experimentally. negative extracted...

The objective of this panel symposium is to explore opportunities for connecting individual and organizational global mindset from both a research practice perspective. link between hinted at in the literature, but remains underexplored, although there widespread agreement that has strategic implications impacts level outcomes such as business performance. This responds calls further efforts addressing connection by interactively exploring nexus six different perspectives with view carving...
