In this work, chopped basalt fibres were used as reinforcing and toughening phase to enhance the mechanical properties of calcium phosphate bone cement. The microstructure, properties, cytocompatibility composite cement evaluated thoroughly. results revealed that addition did not significantly change setting process but markedly improved toughness. fracture work with 1 wt% was 10 times higher than pure control due pulling out fibres. Moreover, flexural strength also promoted a certain amount...

Special T-type fractures can be formed when coal is hydraulically fractured and there currently no relevant theoretical model to calculate describe them. This paper first establishes the height calculation of vertical in multi-layered formations deduces stress intensity factor (SIF) at upper lower sides fracture process extension. Combined with tip analysis method mechanics theory, horizontal bedding taken into account for tensile shear failure, critical mechanical conditions formation are...

The feature point method is the mainstream to accomplish inter-frame estimation in visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) methods, among which Oriented FAST Rotated BRIEF (ORB) feature-based provides an equilibrium of accuracy as well efficiency. However, ORB algorithm prone clustering phenomena, its unequal distribution extracted points not conducive subsequent camera tracking. To solve above problems, this paper suggests adaptive extraction that first constructs multiple-scale...
