We propose a novel approach to measure spin polarization of nucleons produced in electron--positron collisions. Using existing tracking devices and supporting structure material, general-purpose spectrometers can be utilized as large-acceptance polarimeter without hardware upgrade. With the proposed approach, revealed, providing complementary accurate description final-state particles. This could have far-reaching implications, such enabling complete determination time-like electromagnetic...

The elastic scattering of ${}^{8}$B by a ${}^{\mathrm{nat}}$Pb target was measured at an incident energy 170.3 MeV. Special care taken with the limited intensity and broad profile secondary beam. angular distribution differential cross section shows that Coulomb-nuclear interference peak (CNIP) is not suppressed in this system, contrast to what observed neutron halo nuclei heavy targets energies around Coulomb barrier. Analyses were performed both terms optical model using...

This paper describes a time-marking system that enables measurement of the in-plane (horizontal) polarization 0.97-GeV/c deuteron beam circulating in Cooler Synchrotron (COSY) at Forschungszentrum J\"ulich. The clock time each polarimeter event is used to unfold 120-kHz spin precession and assign events bins according direction horizontal polarization. After accumulation for one or more seconds, down-up scattering asymmetry can be calculated matched sinusoidal function whose magnitude...

The Super $τ$-Charm facility (STCF) is an electron-positron collider proposed by the Chinese particle physics community. It designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 7 GeV with peak luminosity of $0.5\times 10^{35}{\rm cm}^{-2}{\rm s}^{-1}$ or higher. STCF will produce data sample about factor 100 larger than that present factory -- BEPCII, providing unique platform for exploring asymmetry matter-antimatter (charge-parity violation), in-depth studies internal structure...

We report on measurements of the differential cross section $d\ensuremath{\sigma}/d\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ and first measurement analyzing power ${A}_{y}$ in $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}(1232)$ excitation energy region reaction $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{{pp}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ where ${{pp}}_{s}$ is a $^{1}S_{0}$ proton pair. The proton analysing power in $\vec{p}p$ elastic scattering has been measured at small angles COSY-ANKE 796 MeV and five other beam energies between 1.6 2.4 GeV using a polarised beam. asymmetries obtained by detecting the fast ANKE forward detector or slow recoil silicon tracking telescope are completely consistent. Although results agree well with many published data MeV, also most recent partial wave solution this energy, higher lie above predictions of angles. An updated phase shift...

An antisymmetrized molecular dynamics model (AMD-FM), modified to take into account the Fermi motion explicitly in its nucleon-nucleon collision process, is presented. Calculated high-energy proton spectra are compared with those of $^{40}\mathrm{Ar}+^{51}\mathrm{V}$ at 44 MeV/nucleon from Coniglione et al. [Phys. Lett. B 471, 339 (2000)] and $^{36}\mathrm{Ar}+^{181}\mathrm{Ta}$ 94 Germain [Nucl. Phys. A 620, 81 (1997)]. Both experimental data reasonably well reproduced by newly added boost...

We report on a new measurement of the beam transverse single spin asymmetry in electron-proton elastic scattering, A_{⊥}^{ep}, at five energies from 315.1 to 1508.4 MeV and scattering angle 30°<θ<40°. The covered Q^{2} values are 0.032, 0.057, 0.082, 0.218, 0.613 (GeV/c)^{2}. clearly indicates significant inelastic contributions two-photon-exchange (TPE) amplitude low-Q^{2} kinematic region. Angular distributions for the elastic scattering of 7Be and 8B by an enriched 208Pb target were measured at Radioactive Ion Beam Line Lanzhou (RIBLL). The incident energies radioactive beams about three times respective Coulomb barriers. A suppressed Coulomb-nuclear Interference Peak (CNIP) is not observed 8B, a pronounced proton halo nucleus. Optical model fits performed using Woods-Saxon potentials total reaction cross sections deduced. results are discussed.
