This paper describes a time-marking system that enables measurement of the in-plane (horizontal) polarization 0.97-GeV/c deuteron beam circulating in Cooler Synchrotron (COSY) at Forschungszentrum J\"ulich. The clock time each polarimeter event is used to unfold 120-kHz spin precession and assign events bins according direction horizontal polarization. After accumulation for one or more seconds, down-up scattering asymmetry can be calculated matched sinusoidal function whose magnitude...

This paper reports results on simultaneous measurements of the reaction channels pp $ \rightarrow$ pK + \Lambda$ and \Sigma^{0}_{}$ at excess energies 204, 239, 284MeV ( 127, 162, 207MeV . Total differential cross-sections are given for both reactions. It is concluded from measured total that high-energy limit cross-section ratio almost reached an energy only about 200MeV. From distributions observed in overall CMS as well Jackson helicity frames, a significant contribution interfering...

A prototype module for an International Linear Collider (ILC) detector was built, installed, and tested between 2006 2009 at CERN Fermilab as part of the CALICE test beam program, in order to study possibilities extending energy sampling behind a hadronic calorimeter providing muon tracking. The "tail catcher/muon tracker" (TCMT) is composed 320 extruded scintillator strips (dimensions 1000 mm x 50 5 mm) packaged 16 one-meter square planes interleaved steel plates. were read out with...

The reaction $ pp\to pp\bf ω$ was investigated with the TOF spectrometer, which is an external experiment at accelerator COSY (Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany). Total as well differential cross sections were determined excess energy of $93 MeV$ ($p_{beam}=2950 MeV/c$). Using total section $(9.0\pm 0.7 \pm1.1) μb$ for ppω$ here and existing data $pp\to ϕ$, ratio $\mathcal{R}_{ϕ/ω}=σ_ϕ/σ_ω$ turns out to be significantly larger than expected by Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka (OZI) rule. uncertainty this...

New measurements are reported for the time dependence of vertical polarization a $0.97\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/\mathrm{c}$ deuteron beam circulating in storage ring and perturbed by an rf solenoid. The is cooler synchrotron (COSY) located at Forschungszentrum J\"ulich. was measured continuously using 1.5 cm thick carbon target edge scintillators EDDA detector.
