The Review summarizes much of particle physics and cosmology. Using data from previous editions, plus 3,062 new measurements 721 papers, we list, evaluate, average measured properties gauge bosons the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, baryons. We summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as supersymmetric particles, heavy bosons, axions, dark photons, etc. All search limits are listed in Summary Tables. also give numerous tables, figures, formulae, reviews...

Hadrons are composite particles made of quark and gluons. Interestingly, some excited hadronic states resemble the deuteron viewed as a barely bound neutron-proton system. Such molecules spatially extended systems lying very close to decay thresholds. This work reviews current experimental evidence for related theoretical descriptions, including effective field theories lattice quantum chromodynamics.

We study the interesting problem of whether it is possible to distinguish composite from elementary particles. In particular we generalize a model-independent approach S. Weinberg case unstable This allows us apply our formalism a0(980) and f0(980) resonances address question these particles are predominantly genuine, confined quark states (of $\bar q q$ or $qq\bar q\bar structure) governed by mesonic components.
We present the physics program of Belle II experiment, located on intensity frontier SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. collected its first collisions in 2018, and is expected to operate for next decade. It anticipated collect 50/ab collision data over lifetime. This book outcome a joint effort collaborators theorists through theory interface platform (B2TiP), an that commenced 2014. The aim B2TiP was elucidate potential impacts program, which includes wide scope topics: B physics, charm, tau,...
The observation of $Z_c(3900)$ by the BESIII collaboration in invariant mass spectrum $J/\psi\pi^\pm$ $e^+e^-\to J/\psi\pi^+\pi^-$ at center 4.260 GeV suggests existence a charged $\bar D D^*+D\bar D^*$ molecular state with $I(J^P)=1(1^+)$, which could be an isovector brother famous X(3872) and analogue $Z_b(10610)$ claimed Belle Collaboration. We demonstrate that this provides strong evidence mysterious Y(4260) is $\bar{D}D_1(2420) +D\bar{D}_1(2420)$ state. Especially, we show decay...

A coupled-channel approach is applied to the charged tetraquark state $T_{cc}^+$ recently discovered by LHCb Collaboration. The parameters of interaction are fixed a fit observed line shape in three-body $D^0D^0\pi^+$ channel. Special attention paid dynamics due finite life time $D^*$. An argued be self-consistent only if both manifestations dynamics, pion exchange between $D$ and $D^*$ mesons width, taken into account simultaneously ensure that unitarity preserved. We report on an exclusive and kinematically complete high-statistics measurement of the basic double-pionic fusion reaction pn→dπ(0)π(0) over full energy region ABC effect, a pronounced low-mass enhancement in ππ-invariant mass spectrum. The measurements, which cover also transition to conventional t-channel ΔΔ process, were performed with upgraded WASA detector setup at COSY. data reveal Abashian-Booth-Crowe effect be uniquely correlated Lorentzian dependence integral cross section....
We investigate the structure of nucleon resonance N^*(1440) (Roper) within a coupled-channel meson exchange model for pion-nucleon scattering. The coupling to pipiN states is realized effectively by sigmaN, piDelta and rhoN channels. interaction between these channels derived from an effective Lagrangian based on chirally symmetric Lagrangian, which supplemented well known terms Delta isobar, omega 'sigma', name given here strong correlation two pions in scalar-isoscalar channel. We study the scattering of light pseudoscalar mesons ($\pi$, $K$) off charmed ($D$, $D_s$) in full lattice QCD. The S-wave lengths are calculated using L\"uscher's finite volume technique. use a relativistic formulation for charm quark. For quark, we domain-wall fermions valence sector and improved Kogut-Susskind sea quarks. calculate isospin-3/2 $D\pi$, $D_s\pi$, $D_sK$, isospin-0 $D\bar{K}$ isospin-1 channels on lattice. chiral extrapolation, unitary approach to next-to-leading order,...

The Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |V_ub| is not well determined yet. It can be extracted from both inclusive or exclusive decays, like B --> pi (rho) l nu-bar_l. However, the determination rho nu-bar_l, in particular, suffers a large model dependence. In this paper, we propose to extract four-body semileptonic decay where form factors for pion-pion system are treated dispersion theory. This model-independent approach that takes into account pi-pi rescattering effects, as effect of...
Three hidden-charm pentaquark P_{c} states, P_{c}(4312), P_{c}(4440), and P_{c}(4457) were revealed in the Λ_{b}^{0}→J/ψpK^{-} process measured by LHCb using both run I II data. Their nature is under lively discussion, their quantum numbers have not been determined. We analyze J/ψp invariant mass distributions assumption that crossed-channel effects provide a smooth background. For first time, such an analysis performed employing coupled-channel formalism with scattering potential involving...
