We report the observation of a narrow charmoniumlike state produced in exclusive decay process B+/--->K+/-pi(+)pi(-)J/psi. This state, which decays into pi(+)pi(-)J/psi, has mass 3872.0+/-0.6(stat)+/-0.5(syst) MeV, value that is very near M(D0)+M(D(*0)) threshold. The results are based on an analysis 152M B-Bmacr; events collected at Upsilon(4S) resonance Belle detector KEKB collider. signal statistical significance excess 10sigma.
Since the inception of quark model we have known simplest examples, mesons made a and antiquark baryons three quarks. But it has long been recognized that more complex structures such as quark-quark-antiquark-antiquark or quark-antiquark-gluon were possible. Such exotic states involving only light up, down, strange quarks are difficult to recognize experimentally but those containing heavier charm bottom distinctive. This paper reviews experimental status phenomenological characterization...
We report the observation of two narrow structures in mass spectra pi+-Y(nS) (n=1,2,3) and pi+-hb(mP)(m$ (m=1,2) pairs that are produced association with a single charged pion Y(5S) decays. The measured masses widths averaged over five final states M_1=(10607.2+-2.0) MeV/c2, Gamma_1=(18.4+-2.4) MeV M_2=(10652.2+-1.5) Gamma_2=(11.5+-2.2) MeV. results obtained 121.4 1/fb data sample collected Belle detector vicinity resonance at KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider.

The Belle detector at the KEKB electron-positron collider has collected almost 1 billion Y(4S) events in its decade of operation. Super-KEKB, an upgrade is under construction, to increase luminosity by two orders magnitude during a three-year shutdown, with ultimate goal 8E35 /cm^2 /s luminosity. To exploit increased luminosity, been proposed. A new international collaboration Belle-II, being formed. Technical Design Report presents physics motivation, basic methods accelerator upgrade, as...
This work is on the Physics of B Factories. Part A this book contains a brief description SLAC and KEK Factories as well their detectors, BaBar Belle, data taking related issues. discusses tools methods used by experiments in order to obtain results. The results themselves can be found C. Please note that version 3 archive auxiliary book. uses notation alpha, beta, gamma for angles Unitarity Triangle. nominal phi_1, phi_2 phi_3. cite Eur. Phys. The Belle experiment, running at the KEKB e+e− asymmetric energy collider during first decade of century, achieved its original objective precisely measuring differences between particles and antiparticles in B system. After collecting 1000 fb−1 data various Υ resonances, also obtained many other physics results described this article.
We present the physics program of Belle II experiment, located on intensity frontier SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. collected its first collisions in 2018, and is expected to operate for next decade. It anticipated collect 50/ab collision data over lifetime. This book outcome a joint effort collaborators theorists through theory interface platform (B2TiP), an that commenced 2014. The aim B2TiP was elucidate potential impacts program, which includes wide scope topics: B physics, charm, tau,...
Charmonium, the spectroscopy of c\bar{c} mesons, has recently enjoyed a renaissance with discovery several missing states and number unexpected charmonium-like resonances. The these new been made possible by extremely large data samples available B-factories at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center KEK in Japan, CESR e^+e^- collider Cornell. Conventional are well described quark potential models. However, many newly discovered mesons do not seem to fit into conventional spectrum. There is...

The results are obtained from 253 fb(-1) data sample that contains 275 x 10(6) BB pairs were collected near Upsilon(4S) resonance with Belle detector at KEKB asymmetric energy e(+)e(-) collider. statistical significance is estimated to be greater than 8sigma.
We observe a narrow enhancement near 2m(p) in the invariant mass spectrum of pp pairs from radiative J/psi-->gammapp decays. No similar structure is seen J/psi-->pi(0)pp The results are based on an analysis 58 x 10(6) event sample J/psi decays accumulated with BESII detector at Beijing electron-positron collider. can be fit either S- or P-wave Breit-Wigner resonance function.
