The Belle detector at the KEKB electron-positron collider has collected almost 1 billion Y(4S) events in its decade of operation. Super-KEKB, an upgrade is under construction, to increase luminosity by two orders magnitude during a three-year shutdown, with ultimate goal 8E35 /cm^2 /s luminosity. To exploit increased luminosity, been proposed. A new international collaboration Belle-II, being formed. Technical Design Report presents physics motivation, basic methods accelerator upgrade, as...
Using data collected with the CLEO detector operating at CESR e+e- collider sqrt[s]=3.97-4.26 GeV, we investigate 15 charmonium decay modes of psi(4040), psi(4160), and Y(4260) resonances. We confirm, 11 sigma significance, BABAR Y(4260)-->pi+pi- J/psi discovery, make first observation Y(4260)--> pi(0)pi(0) (5.1 sigma), find evidence for Y(4260)-->K+K- J/psi(3.7 sigma). measure cross sections sqrt[s]=4.26 GeV as sigma(pi+pi- J/psi)=58(+12)(-10)+/-4 pb, sigma(pi(0)pi(0) J/psi)=23(+12)(-8)+/-1...
Using $13.3\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collision data taken in the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(1S\ensuremath{-}4S)$ region with CLEO III detector at CESR collider, a search has been made for new resonance $Y(4260)$ recently reported by BABAR Collaboration. The production initial state radiation (ISR), and its decay into ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}J/\ensuremath{\psi}$, are confirmed. A good quality fit to our is...
Using the entire CLEO-c \psi(3770)-> D\bar{D} event sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $818 pb^-1 and approximately 5.4 million events, we present a study decays D^0 -> \pi^- e^+ \nu_e, K^- D^+ \pi^0 \bar{K}^0 \nu_e. Via tagged analysis technique, in which one D is fully reconstructed hadronic mode, partial rates for semileptonic by other are measured several q^2 bins. We fit these using form factor parameterizations report results, including shape parameters branching...
We extract a relatively precise value for the decay constant of ${D}^{+}$ meson by measuring $\mathcal{B}({D}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}\ensuremath{\nu})=(4.40\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{0.66}_{\ensuremath{-}0.12}^{+0.09})\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ using $281\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data taken on $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)$ resonance with CLEO-$c$ detector. find...

The h(c)((1)P(1)) state of charmonium has been observed in the reaction psi(2S) --> pi(0)h(c) (gammagamma)(gammaeta(c)) using 3.08 x10(6) decays recorded CLEO detector. Data have analyzed both for inclusive reaction, where decay products eta(c) are not identified, and exclusive reactions, which reconstructed seven hadronic channels. We find M(h(c)) = 3524.4 +/- 0.6 0.4 MeV corresponds to a hyperfine splitting DeltaM(hf)(1P) triple-bond <M((3)P(J)) - M((1)P(1)) +1.0 MeV, B(psi(2S) pi(0)h(c))...
We search for a non-SM-like CP-odd Higgs boson (a(1)(0)) decaying to tau(+)tau(-) or mu(+)mu(-) in radiative decays of the Upsilon(1S). No significant signal is found, and upper limits on product branching ratios are set. Our results almost 2 orders magnitude more stringent than previous limits. data provide no evidence state with mass 214 MeV mu(+)mu(-), previously proposed as an explanation 3 Sigma(+)-->pmu(+)mu(-) events observed by HyperCP experiment. constrain NMSSM models.
We examine e+e−→Ds−Ds*+ and Ds*−Ds+ interactions at 4170 MeV using the CLEO-c detector in order to measure decay constant fDs+ with good precision. Previously our measurements were substantially higher than most precise lattice based QCD calculation of (241±3) MeV. Here we use Ds+→ℓ+ν channel, where ℓ+ designates either a μ+ or τ+, when τ+→π+ν¯. Analyzing both modes independently, determine B(Ds+→μ+ν)=(0.565±0.045±0.017)%, B(Ds+→τ+ν)=(6.42±0.81±0.18)%. also analyze them simultaneously find...
Using e+e−→D−sD*+s and D*−sD+s interactions at 4170 MeV collected with the CLEO-c detector, we investigate semileptonic decays D+s→f0(980)e+ν D+s→ϕe+ν. By examining decay rates as functions of four-momentum transfer squared q2, measure ratio [dBdq2(D+s→f0(980)e+ν)B(f0→π+π−)]/[dBdq2(D+s→ϕe+ν)B(ϕ→K+K−)] q2 zero to be (42±11)%. This has been predicted equal rate [B(Bs→J/ψf0)B(f0→π+π−)]/[B(Bs→J/ψϕ)B(ϕ→K+K−)], thus indicating that CP eigenstate J/ψf0 could useful for measuring violation via Bs...

We exploit the quantum coherence between pair-produced D0 and D0B in psi(3770) decays to make a first determination of relative strong phase differences D0--> K0Spi+pi- D0B--> K0Spi+pi-, which are great importance determining CKM angle gamma/phi3 B- --> (D0B) K- decays. Using 818 1/pb e+e- collision data collected with CLEO-c detector at Ecm = 3.77 GeV, we employ binned Dalitz-plot analysis K0S pi+pi- K0Lpi+pi- recoiling against flavor-tagged, CP-tagged tagged events determine these differences.
