We study B→K(*)ℓ+ℓ− decays (ℓ=e, μ) based on a data sample of 657×106 BB¯ pairs collected with the Belle detector at KEKB e+e− collider. report differential branching fraction, isospin asymmetry, K* polarization, and forward-backward asymmetry (AFB) as functions q2=Mℓℓ2c2. The fitted AFB spectrum exceeds standard model expectation by 2.7 deviations. measured fractions are B(B→K*ℓ+ℓ−)=(10.7−1.0+1.1±0.9)×10−7 B(B→Kℓ+ℓ−)=(4.8−0.4+0.5±0.3)×10−7, where first errors statistical second systematic,...
The cross section for ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ between 3.8 and $5.5\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$ is measured using a $548\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data sample collected on or near the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with Belle detector at KEKB. A peak $4.25\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$, corresponding to so called $Y(4260)$, observed. In addition, there another...

We report a high-statistics measurement of the branching fraction for tau^- --> pi^- pi^0 nu_tau and invariant mass spectrum produced system using 72.2 fb^-1 data recorded with Belle detector at KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+ e^- collider. The obtained is (25.24 +/- 0.01 0.39)%, where first error statistical second systematic. unfolded used to determine resonance parameters rho(770), rho'(1450), rho"(1700) mesons. also use this estimate hadronic (2pi) contribution anomalous magnetic moment muon...
An improved discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-based channel estimation for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems is proposed. Conventional DFT-based estimations improve the performance by suppressing time domain noise. However, they potentially require information on impulse responses and may also result in mean-square error (MSE) floor due to incorrect such as delay spread. In contrast, our purposed can deciding significant taps adaptively without requiring any statistical...
The Collins effect connects transverse quark spin with a measurable azimuthal asymmetry in the yield of hadronic fragments around quark's momentum vector. Using two different reconstruction methods we measure statistically significant asymmetries for charged pion pairs ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ annihilation at center-of-mass energies 10.52 GeV and 10.58 GeV, which can be attributed to fragmentation primordial quarks components. measurement was performed using data set $547\text{ }\text{...

We report an observation of the decay $B^0\to D^{*-} \tau^+ \nu_{\tau}$ in a data sample containing $535\times10^6$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected with Belle detector at KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. find signal significance 5.2 standard deviations and measure branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(B^0\to \tau ^+ \nu_{\tau})=(2.02 ^{+0.40}_{-0.37} (stat) \pm 0.37 (syst)) % $. This is first exclusive $B$ $b \to c transition.
The authors propose low complexity versions of a linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) channel estimator for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. They partition the autocorrelation matrix in LMMSE into small sub-matrices. size sub-matrix is determined by coherence bandwidth, range highly correlated responses. Since proposed uses sub-matrices instead whole auto-correlation matrix, significantly reduced spite slight performance degradation. (MSE) has been evaluated an...
