We study B→K(*)ℓ+ℓ− decays (ℓ=e, μ) based on a data sample of 657×106 BB¯ pairs collected with the Belle detector at KEKB e+e− collider. report differential branching fraction, isospin asymmetry, K* polarization, and forward-backward asymmetry (AFB) as functions q2=Mℓℓ2c2. The fitted AFB spectrum exceeds standard model expectation by 2.7 deviations. measured fractions are B(B→K*ℓ+ℓ−)=(10.7−1.0+1.1±0.9)×10−7 B(B→Kℓ+ℓ−)=(4.8−0.4+0.5±0.3)×10−7, where first errors statistical second systematic,...

We present measurements of B+→¯¯¯D*0τ+ντ and B+→¯¯¯D0τ+ντ decays in a data sample 657×106 B¯¯¯B pairs collected with the Belle detector at KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. find 446+58−56 events significance 8.1 standard deviations, 146+42−41 3.5 deviations. The latter signal provides first evidence for this decay mode. measured branching fractions are B(B+→¯¯¯D*0τ+ντ)=(2.12+0.28−0.27(stat)±0.29(syst))% B(B+→¯¯¯D0τ+ντ)=(0.77±0.22(stat)±0.12(syst))%.Received 13 May...

We report an observation of the decay $B^0\to D^{*-} \tau^+ \nu_{\tau}$ in a data sample containing $535\times10^6$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected with Belle detector at KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. find signal significance 5.2 standard deviations and measure branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(B^0\to \tau ^+ \nu_{\tau})=(2.02 ^{+0.40}_{-0.37} (stat) \pm 0.37 (syst)) % $. This is first exclusive $B$ $b \to c transition.

Using 605 fb−1 of data collected at the Υ(4S) resonance we present a measurement inclusive radiative B-meson decay channel, B→Xsγ. For lower photon energy thresholds 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 GeV, as defined in rest frame B meson, measure partial branching fraction mean variance spectrum. At 1.7 GeV threshold obtain BF(B→Xsγ)=(3.45±0.15±0.40)×10−4, where errors are statistical systematic.Received 8 July 2009DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.103.241801©2009 American Physical Society

We present a measurement of the decay B−→τ−ν¯τ using data sample containing 657×106 BB¯ pairs collected at Υ(4S) resonance with Belle detector KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. A B+B− are tagged by reconstructing one B+ meson decaying semileptonically. detect candidate in recoil. obtain signal significance 3.6 standard deviations including systematic uncertainties, and measure branching fraction to be B(B−→τ−ν¯τ)=[1.54−0.37+0.38(stat)−0.31+0.29(syst)]×10−4. This result confirms evidence...

This article describes a determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|{V}_{cb}|$ from decay ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}^{*\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$ using $711\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ Belle data collected near $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance. We simultaneously measure product form factor normalization $\mathcal{F}(1)$ and as well three parameters ${\ensuremath{\rho}}^{2}$, ${R}_{1}(1)$...

We report the first observation of a b -> u type charmless baryonic B decay, B+ p pbar pi+, as well s B0 K0 and K*+ decays. The analysis is based on 78fb^{-1} data sample recorded Upsilon(4S) resonance with Belle detector at KEKB. find BF(B+ pi+) = (3.06^{+0.73}_{-0.62} \pm 0.37)*10^{-6}, BF(B0 K0) =(1.88^{+0.77}_{-0.60} 0.23)*10^{-6}, K*+) (10.3^{+3.6 + 1.3}_{-2.8 -1.7})*10^{-6}. also update K+) (5.66^{+0.67}_{-0.57} 0.62)* 10^{-6}, present an upper limit K*0) 90% confidence level. We present a time-dependent Dalitz plot measurement of CP violation parameters in B0 --> Ks Pi+ Pi- decays. These results are obtained from large data sample that contains 657 million BBbar pairs collected at the Y(4S) resonance with Belle detector KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. For parameters, we obtain two consistent solutions describe well. The first these may be preferred by external information other measurements. There is no evidence for direct rho0(770) Ks, f0(980) and K*+(892)...
