Abstract The Silicon Vertex Detector of Belle II is a state-of-the-art tracking and vertexing system based on double-sided silicon strip sensors, designed fabricated by large international collaboration in the period 2012–2018. Since 2019 it has been operation providing high quality data with small number defective channels (<1%), hit-finding efficiency (>99%), good signal-to-noise ratio (well excess 10 for all sensor configurations tracks). Together control over alignment, these are...
The DEPFET collaboration develops highly granular, ultra-transparent active pixel detectors for high-performance vertex reconstruction at future collider experiments. characterization of detector prototypes has proven that the key principle, integration a first amplification stage in detector-grade sensor material, can provide comfortable signal to noise ratio over 40 thickness 50-75 $\mathrm{\mathbf{\mu m}}$. ASICs have been designed and produced operate with required read-out speed. A...

The objective of this study was to investigate the response Na(+)/K(+)-ATPase human erythrocytes green laser irradiation. Effects light fluences 9.5-63.3 J.cm(-2) and merocyanine 540-mediated treatment were studied. Isolated erythrocyte membranes (protein concentration 1 mg/ml) irradiated by Nd:YAG (532 nm, 30 mW) then incubated in a medium with 2 mM ATP for min. Activity ATPase determined colorimetrically measuring colored reaction product liberated inorganic phosphate malachite at 640 nm....
We report a search for B0 decays into invisible final states using data sample of 657×106 B¯¯¯B pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with Belle detector KEKB e+e− collider. The signal is identified by fully reconstructing hadronic decay accompanying B meson and requiring no other particles in event. No significant observed, we obtain an upper limit 1.3×10−4 90% confidence level branching fraction decay.Received 26 June 2012DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.86.032002© 2012 American...
The brain stem contains important nuclei that control cardiovascular function via the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), which is strongly influenced by nitric oxide. Its biological activity also largely determined oxygen free radicals. Despite many experimental studies, role of AT1R-NAD(P)H oxidase-superoxide pathway in NO-deficiency not yet sufficiently clarified. We changes radical signaling and antioxidant detoxification response young adult Wistar rats during chronic administration...
A new synthetic isothiocyanate (ITC) derivative, ethyl 4-isothiocyanatobutanoate (E-4IB), appeared to be an effective modulator of cellular proliferation and potent inducer apoptosis. In cooperation with cisplatin, this compound exerted synergistic effects in human ovarian carcinoma A2780 cells. the present study we investigated more detail E4IB-sensitisation for cisplatin-induced Sequential administration both cytostatic agents led increased intracellular platinum accumulation, glutathione...
The future Belle II experiment will employ a computer-farm based data reduction system for the readout of its innermost detector, DEPFET-technology silicon detector with pixel readout. A large fraction background hits can be rejected by defining set Regions Of Interest (ROI) on sensors and then recording just from pixels inside ROI. ROIs are defined an event basis extrapolating back onto PXD charged tracks detected in outer trackers (a 4 layer double-sided strip surrounded wire chamber)....

The Belle II Silicon Vertex Detector comprises four layers of double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSDs), consisting ladders with two to five sensors each. All are individually read out by APV25 chips the Origami chip-on-sensor concept for central DSSDs ladders. sit on flexible circuits that glued top sensors. This allows a low material budget and an efficient cooling single pipe per ladder. We present construction first SVD results from precision measurements electrical tests.
