Time series feature engineering is a time-consuming process because scientists and engineers have to consider the multifarious algorithms of signal processing time analysis for identifying extracting meaningful features from series. The Python package tsfresh (Time Series FeatuRe Extraction on basis Scalable Hypothesis tests) accelerates this by combining 63 characterization methods, which default compute total 794 features, with selection automatically configured hypothesis tests.
