We present a measurement of angular observables, $P_4'$, $P_5'$, $P_6'$, $P_8'$, in the decay $B^0 \to K^\ast(892)^0 \ell^+ \ell^-$, where $\ell^+\ell^-$ is either $e^+e^-$ or $\mu^+\mu^-$. The analysis performed on data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity $711~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ containing $772\times 10^{6}$ $B\bar B$ pairs, collected at $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with Belle detector asymmetric-energy collider KEKB. Four $P_{4,5,6,8}'$ are extracted five bins invariant mass...
We report the first measurement of $D^{\ast -}$ meson polarization in decay $B^0 \to D^{*-} \tau^+\nu_{\tau}$ using full data sample 772$\times 10^6$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs recorded with Belle detector at KEKB electron-positron collider. Our result, $F_L^{D^\ast} = 0.60 \pm 0.08 ({\rm stat}) 0.04 sys})$, where $F_L^{D^\ast}$ denotes $D^{\ast-}$ longitudinal fraction, agrees within about $1.7$ standard deviations model prediction.
The precise determination of the CKM matrix element $\left| V_{cb}\right|$ is important for carrying out tests flavour sector Standard Model. In this article we present a preliminary analysis $\bar B^0 \to D^{*\,+} \, \ell^- \bar ν_\ell$ decay mode and its charge conjugate, selected in events that contain fully reconstructed $B$-meson, using 772 million $e^+ e^- Υ(4S) B B$ recorded by Belle detector at KEKB. Unfolded differential rates four kinematic variables describing $B$-meson rest frame...
We report the first measurement of $τ$ lepton polarization in decay ${\bar B} \rightarrow D^* τ^- {\barν_τ}$ as well a new ratio branching fractions $R(D^{*}) = \mathcal{B}({\bar {\barν_τ}) / \ell^- {\barν_{\ell}})$, where $\ell^-$ denotes an electron or muon, with decays $τ^- π^- ν_τ$ and ρ^- ν_τ$. use full data sample $772 \times 10^6$ $B{\bar B}$ pairs accumulated Belle detector at KEKB electron-positron collider. Our preliminary results, $R(D^*) 0.276 \pm 0.034{\rm (stat.)} ^{+0.029}...
We report a study of the charmless hadronic decay charged $B$ meson to three-body final state ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$. The results are based on data sample that contains $772\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}\text{ }\text{ }B\overline{B}$ pairs collected at $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ resonance with Belle detector KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. measured inclusive branching fraction and direct $CP$ asymmetry...
We measure the branching fraction and $CP$ violation asymmetry in decay ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, using a data sample of $752\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}\text{ }\text{ }B\overline{B}$ pairs collected at $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ resonance with Belle detector KEKB ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. The obtained direct are...
The enhancement of charged-particle pairs with large pseudorapidity difference and small azimuthal angle difference, often referred to as the ``ridge signal'', is a phenomenon widely observed in high multiplicity proton-proton, proton-ion deutron-ion collisions, which not yet fully understood. In heavy-ion hydrodynamic expansion Quark-Gluon Plasma one possible explanations origin ridge signal. Measurements $e^+e^-$ collision system, without complexities introduced by hadron structure initial...
We report the first observation of polarization $Λ/\barΛ$ hyperons transverse to its production plane in $e^+e^-$ annihilation. observe a significant that rises with fractional energy carried by hyperon as well momentum. To define plane, we use direction momentum together either thrust axis event or vector hadron opposite hemisphere. Furthermore, investigate contributions from feed-down $Σ^0/\barΣ^0$ and $Λ_c^{\pm}$ decays. This measurement uses dataset 800.4fb$^{-1}$ collected Belle...
We report a search for $B^{0}\to ηη$ with data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $698 \,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ containing $753 \times 10^{6}$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance Belle detector KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. The branching fraction is measured be $\mathcal{B}(B^{0} \to ηη) = (7.6^{+2.7 +1.4}_{-2.3 -1.6}) 10^{-7}$ level 3.3 standard deviations above zero, which provides first evidence decay $B^{0} ηη$.
We study the decay ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ and investigate angular distribution of ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ pairs with invariant mass below $1.1\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$. This region exhibits both a strong enhancement in signal very large direct $CP$ violation. construct coherent sum model for $S$- $P$-wave, report ratio their amplitudes, relative phase forward-backward asymmetry. also absolute differential branching...
We measure the branching fractions and $CP$ asymmetries for decays $B^{0}\to \bar{D}^{0}\pi^{0}$ $B^{+}\to \bar{D}^{0}\pi^{+}$, using a data sample of $772\times 10^{6}$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with Belle detector KEKB $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. The obtained direct are $\mathcal{B}(B^{0}\to \bar{D}^{0}\pi^{0}) = [2.70 \pm 0.06~ \text{(stat.)} 0.10~ \text{(syst.)}] \times 10^{-4}$, $\mathcal{B}(B^{+}\to \bar{D}^{0}\pi^{+}) [4.53 0.02~ 0.15~ 10^{-3}$, $ {\cal...
The Belle II experiment[1] employs the root file format[2] for recording data and is investigating use of "index-files" to reduce size skims. These files contain pointers location interesting events within total set skims by 2 orders magnitude. We implement this scheme on grid parent metadata event file. While works, it substantially slower than a normal sequential read standard skim using default parameters. investigate performance adjusting "splitLevel" "autoflushsize" parameters in files.
