We report a measurement of the exclusive e+ e- -->Lambda+_(c)Lambda-_(c) cross section as function center-of-mass energy near Lambda+_(c)Lambda-_(c) threshold. A clear peak with significance 8.2sigma is observed in invariant mass distribution just above With an assumption resonance origin for peak, and width M=[4634 (+8)_(-7)(stat)(+5)_(-8)(syst)] MeV/c(2) Gamma_(tot)=[92 (+40)_(-24)(stat)(+10)_(-21)(syst)] MeV are determined. The analysis based on study events initial-state-radiation...
We report the first observation of a charmoniumlike state recoiling from J/psi in inclusive process e+e- -->J/psi+anything at mass (3.943+/-0.006+/-0.006) GeV/c{2}. also observe decay this into D*D[over ] and determine its intrinsic width to be less than 52 MeV/c{2} 90% C.L. These results are obtained 357 fb{-1} data sample collected with Belle detector near Upsilon(4S) resonance, KEKB asymmetric-energy collider.
We report the first observation of two resonance-like structures in pi+ chi_c1 invariant mass distribution near 4.1 GeV/c^2 exclusive B0-bar --> K- decays. From a Dalitz plot analysis which are represented by Breit-Wigner resonance amplitudes, we determine masses and widths of: M_1 = (4051 +-14 +20-41) MeV/c^2, Gamma_1 (82 +21-17 +47-22) MeV, M_2 (4248 +44-29 +180-35}) Gamma_2 =(177 +54-39 +316-61) MeV; product branching fractions BF(B0-bar Z+_1,2) x BF(Z+_1,2 chi_c1) (3.0 +1.5-0.8 +3.7-1.6)...
We report on a search for new resonant states in the process γγ→D¯¯¯D. A candidate C-even charmonium state is observed vicinity of 3.93 GeV/c2. The production rate and angular distribution γγ center-of-mass frame suggest that this previously unobserved χ′c2, 23P2 state.Received 15 December 2005DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.96.082003©2006 American Physical Society
We report measurements of the exclusive cross section for e+e−→D¯¯¯D, where D=D0 or D+, in center-of-mass energy range from D¯¯¯D threshold to 5 GeV with initial-state radiation. The analysis is based on a data sample collected Belle detector an integrated luminosity 673 fb−1.Received 18 October 2007DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.77.011103©2008 American Physical Society
We present a new measurement of the unitarity triangle angle phi3 using Dalitz plot analysis KsPi+Pi- decay neutral D meson produced in B->D(*)K decays. The method exploits interference between D0 and D0bar to extract phi3, strong phase delta ratio r suppressed allowed amplitudes. apply this 605 fb-1 data sample collected by Belle experiment. uses three decays: B->DK, B->D*K with D*->DPi0 D*->Dgamma, as well corresponding charge-conjugate modes. From combined maximum likelihood fit modes, we...

Since 2015, with the restart of LHC for its second run data taking, LHCb experiment has been empowered a dedicated computing model to select and analyse calibration samples measure performance particle identification (PID) detectors algorithms. The novel technique was developed within framework innovative trigger experiment, which relies on online event reconstruction most datasets, reserving offline special physics cases. strategy process samples, includes data-processing scheme combining...

The method employs interference between ${D}^{0}$ and $\overline{{D}^{0}}$ to extract both weak strong phases. apply this $140\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{f}\mathrm{b}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data sample collected by Belle experiment. uses...
We report measurements of the exclusive cross section for e+e−→D0D−π+ over center-of-mass energy range 4.0 GeV to 5.0 with initial-state radiation and first observation decay ψ(4415)→D0D−π+. From a study resonant substructure in ψ(4415) we conclude that ψ(4415)→D0D−π+ is dominated by ψ(4415)→DD¯2*(2460). obtain B(ψ(4415)→D0D−πnonresonant+)/B(ψ(4415)→DD¯2*(2460)→D0D−π+)<0.22 at 90% C.L. We report the results of Monte-Carlo study method to determine CKM angle phi3 using Dalitz plot analysis D0 decay from B->DK process. Our main goal is find optimal strategy for a model-independent extraction. that decays CP-tagged D mesons only cannot provide completely measurement in case limited data sample. The procedure involving binned and psi(3770)->(K0 pi+ pi-)_D (K0 proposed, allows reach precision comparable unbinned model-dependent fit.

The suppressed decay chain B(-)→DK(-), D→K(+)π(-), where D indicates a D(¯)(0) or D(0) state, provides important information on the CP-violating angle ϕ(3). We measure ratio R(DK) of rates to favored mode D→K(-)π(+) be R(DK)=[1.63(-0.41)(+0.44)(stat)(-0.13)(+0.07)(syst)]×10(-2), which first evidence signal with significance 4.1σ. also asymmetry A(DK) between charge-conjugate decays A(DK)=-0.39(-0.28)(+0.26)(stat)(-0.03)(+0.04)(syst). results are based full 772×10(6) BB(¯) pair data sample...
Kernel density estimation is a convenient way to estimate the probability of distribution given sample data points.However, it has certain drawbacks: proper description using narrow kernels needs large samples, whereas if kernel width large, boundaries and structures tend be smeared.Here, an approach correct for such effects, proposed that uses approximate describe boundaries.The shown well suited efficiency shape over multidimensional phase space in typical particle physics analysis.An...
