Based on the full BABAR data sample, we report improved measurements of ratios R(D(*))=B(B[over ¯]→D(*)τ(-)ν[over ¯](τ))/B(B[over ¯]→D(*)ℓ(ℓ)(-)ν[over ¯](ℓ)), where ℓ is either e or μ. These are sensitive to new physics contributions in form a charged Higgs boson. We measure R(D)=0.440±0.058±0.042 and R(D(*))=0.332±0.024±0.018, which exceed standard model expectations by 2.0σ 2.7σ, respectively. Taken together, our results disagree with these at 3.4σ level. This excess cannot be explained...

We search for single-photon events in 53 fb−1 of e+e− collision data collected with the BABAR detector at PEP-II B-Factory. look a single high-energy photon and large missing momentum energy, consistent production spin-1 particle A′ through process e+e−→γA′; A′→invisible. Such particles, referred to as "dark photons," are motivated by theories applying U(1) gauge symmetry dark matter. find no evidence such processes set 90% confidence level upper limits on coupling strength mass range mA′≤8...
Many models of physics beyond the Standard Model predict existence new Abelian forces with gauge bosons mediating interactions between "dark sectors" and Model. We report a search for dark boson Z' coupling only to second third generations leptons in reaction e+e- -> mu+mu- Z', using 514 fb-1 data collected by BABAR experiment. No significant signal is observed masses range 0.212 - 10 GeV. Limits on parameter g' as low 7x10^-4 are derived, leading improvements bounds compared those...
We present a study of the ${D}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, ${D}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$, and ${D}^{*+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ systems in inclusive ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}c\overline{c}$ interactions search for new excited $D$ meson states. use data set, consisting $\ensuremath{\sim}454\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$, collected at center-of-mass energies near 10.58 GeV by BABAR detector SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy...
We report constraints on light dark matter through its interactions with shell electrons in the PandaX-II liquid xenon detector a total $46.9\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{tonnes}/\mathrm{day}$ exposure. To effectively search for these very low energy electron recoils, ionization-only signals are selected from data. 1821 candidates identified within an ionization signal range between 50 and 75 photoelectrons, corresponding to mean electronic recoil 0.08 0.15 keV. The 90% C.L. exclusion limit...
We report the first dark matter search results using commissioning data from PandaX-4T. Using a time projection chamber with 3.7 tonne of liquid xenon target and an exposure 0.63 tonne·year, 1058 candidate events are identified within approximate nuclear recoil energy window between 5 100 keV. No significant excess over background is observed. Our set stringent limit to matter-nucleon spin-independent interactions, lowest excluded cross section (90% C.L.) 3.8×10^{-47} cm^{2} at mass 40 GeV/c^{2}.
We report a novel search for the cosmic-ray boosted dark matter using 100 tonne·day full dataset of PandaX-II detector located at China Jinping Underground Laboratory. With extra energy gained from cosmic rays, sub-GeV particles can produce visible recoil signals in detector. The diurnal modulations rate and spectrum are utilized to further enhance signal sensitivity. Our result excludes matter-nucleon elastic scattering cross section between 10^{-31} 10^{-28} cm^{2} masses 0.1 MeV/c^{2}...
We report the search results of light dark matter through its interactions with shell electrons and nuclei, using commissioning data from PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector. Low energy events are selected to have an ionization-only signal between 60 200 photoelectrons, corresponding a mean nuclear recoil 0.77 2.54 keV electronic 0.07 0.23 keV. With effective exposure 0.55 tonne$\cdot$year, we set most stringent limits within mass range 40 $\rm{MeV/c^2}$ 10 $\rm{GeV/c^2}$ for point-like...
We report a search on sub-MeV fermionic dark matter absorbed by electrons with an outgoing active neutrino using the 0.63 tonne year exposure collected PandaX-4T liquid xenon experiment. No significant signals are observed over expected background. The data interpreted into limits to effective couplings between such and electron. For axial-vector or vector interactions, our sensitivity is competitive in comparison existing astrophysical bounds decay of candidate photon final states. In...
A search for interactions from solar $^{8}\mathrm{B}$ neutrinos elastically scattering off xenon nuclei using PandaX-4T commissioning data is reported. The energy threshold of this further lowered compared with the previous dark matter, various techniques utilized to suppress background that emerges threshold. blind analysis performed on an effective exposure $0.48\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{tonne}\text{ }\mathrm{year}$, and no significant excess events observed. Among results obtained...
Xe134 is a candidate isotope for neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ) search. In addition, the two-neutrino case (2νββ) allowed by standard model of particle physics has not yet been observed. With 656-kg natural xenon in fiducial volume PandaX-4T detector, which contains 10.4% Xe134, and its initial 94.9-day exposure, we have established most stringent constraints on 2νββ 0νββ half-lives, with limits 2.8×1022 yr 3.0×1023 at 90% confidence level, respectively.
