We present an updated measurement of time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in neutral B decays with the BABAR detector at PEP-II asymmetric Factory SLAC. This result uses additional sample Upsilon(4S) collected 2001, bringing data available to 32 x 10(6) BB macro pairs. select events which one meson is fully reconstructed a final state containing charmonium and flavor other determined from its decay products. The amplitude asymmetry, standard model proportional sin2 beta, derived time...
Dark sectors charged under a new Abelian interaction have recently received much attention in the context of dark matter models. These models introduce light mediator, so-called photon (A′), connecting sector to standard model. We present search for reaction e+e−→γA′, A′→e+e−, μ+μ− using 514 fb−1 data collected with BABAR detector. observe no statistically significant deviations from model predictions, and we set 90% confidence level upper limits on mixing strength between at 10−4−10−3...

Abstract New developments in liquid scintillators, high-efficiency, fast photon detectors, and chromatic sorting have opened up the possibility for building a large-scale detector that can discriminate between Cherenkov scintillation signals. Such could reconstruct particle direction species using light while also having excellent energy resolution low threshold of scintillator detector. Situated deep underground, utilizing new techniques computing reconstruction, this achieve unprecedented...

Several past experiments such as SAGE, GALLEX, and BEST reported lower than expected neutrino capture rates on ${}^{71}$Ga. The origin of this so-called ``gallium anomaly'' could potentially indicate new physics, unless there was a more mundane explanation. Because the measured half-life electron-capture decay ${}^{71}$Ge can be used to calculate neutrino-capture cross section ${}^{71}$Ga, authors carried out three separate measurements determine with high precision. Their result...
