The 0.93 gram Si detector achieved 3 eV phonon energy resolution; for bias 100 V, this corresponds to charge resolution 3% single electron-hole pair. spectrum is reported from blind with 1.2 gram-days exposure acquired in above-ground laboratory. With carrier...

We present the design and characterization of a cryogenic phonon-sensitive 1-gram Si detector exploiting Neganov-Trofimov-Luke effect to detect single-charge excitations. This device achieved 2.65(2)~eV phonon energy resolution when operated without voltage bias across crystal corresponding charge 0.03 electron-hole pairs at 100~V bias. With continuous-readout data acquisition system an offline optimum-filter trigger, we obtain 9.2~eV threshold with trigger rate order 20~Hz. The detector's...

In the present work, we describe results obtained with a large (≈133cm3) TeO2 bolometer, view to search for neutrinoless double-β decay (0νββ) of 130Te. We demonstrate an efficient α-particle discrimination (99.9%) high acceptance 0νββ signal (about 96%), expected at ≈2.5 MeV. This unprecedented result was possible thanks superior performance (10-eV rms baseline noise) Neganov-Luke-assisted germanium bolometer used detect tiny (70-eV) light from detector, dominated by γ(β)-induced Cherenkov...

Neutrinoless double beta decay ($0\ensuremath{\nu}\ensuremath{\beta}\ensuremath{\beta}$) processes sample a wide range of intermediate forbidden nuclear transitions, which may be impacted by quenching the axial vector coupling constant (${g}_{A}/{g}_{V}$), uncertainty plays pivotal role in determining sensitivity reach $0\ensuremath{\nu}\ensuremath{\beta}\ensuremath{\beta}$ experiments. In this Letter, we present measurements performed on high-resolution ${\mathrm{LiInSe}}_{2}$ bolometer...
We measured the nuclear-recoil ionization yield in silicon with a cryogenic phonon-sensitive gram-scale detector. Neutrons from monoenergetic beam scatter off of nuclei at angles corresponding to energy depositions 4 keV down 100 eV, lowest probed so far. The results show no sign an production threshold above eV. These call for further investigation theory and comprehensive determination detector response function energies below scale.
For the first time Li 2 MoO 4 crystals, including samples enriched with isotope molybdenum-100 ( 100 Mo), were grown by Czochralski technique at low-thermal-gradient conditions (LTG Cz), which allowed obtaining crystals of record size and quality.Dependence between growth rate, mechanism crystal faceting was established.Low temperature tests produced scintillating bolometers have demonstrated high performance detectors in terms energy resolution particle discrimination ability.Radioactive...
Recent experiments searching for $\mathrm{sub}\text{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$ dark matter have observed event excesses close to their respective energy thresholds. Although specific the individual technologies, measured excess rates been consistently reported at or below energies of a few-hundred eV, with charges few electron-hole pairs. In present work, we operated 1-g silicon SuperCDMS-HVeV detector three voltages across crystal (0, 60 and 100 V). The 0 V data show an events in...
