Purpose This study aims to investigate the bright and dark sides of environmental, social governance (ESG) during COVID-19 pandemic, including both outbreak recovery periods, for Chinese hospitality industry. Design/methodology/approach Using panel data 564 firm-quarter observations from 2018 2020, authors adopt fixed-effects regression estimation with standard errors clustered at firm level. To address potential endogeneity concerns, also use two-stage least squares estimator instrumental...

In a sample of 58 million $J/ψ$ events collected with the BES II detector, process J/$ψ\toγη_c$ is observed in five different decay channels: $γK^+K^-π^+π^-$, $γπ^+π^-π^+π^-$, $γK^\pm K^0_S π^\mp$ (with $K^0_S\toπ^+π^-$), $γϕϕ$ $ϕ\to K^+K^-$) and $γp\bar{p}$. From combined fit all channels, we determine mass full-width $η_c$ to be $m_{η_c}=2977.5\pm1.0 ({stat.})\pm1.2 ({syst.})$ MeV/$c^2$ $Γ_{η_c} = 17.0\pm3.7 ({stat.})\pm7.4 MeV/$c^2$.

We report measurements of branching fractions for ψ(2S) decays into ωπ+π−, b1π, ωf2(1270), ωK+K−, ωpp¯, φπ+π−, φf0(980), φK+K−, and an upper limit φpp¯ final states based on a data sample (4.02±0.22)×106ψ(2S) events collected with the BESI detector at Beijing Electron-Positron Collider. The b1π ωf2(1270) update previous BES results, while those other decay modes are first measurements. ratios J/ψ smaller than what is expected from 12% rule by factor 5 2 studied channels consistent...

The first observation of χcJ(J=0,1,2) decays to ΛΛ¯ is reported using ψ(2S) data collected with the Beijing Spectrometer detector at Electron Positron Collider. branching ratios are determined be B(χc0→ΛΛ¯)=(4.7−1.2+1.3±1.0)×10−4, B(χc1→ΛΛ¯)=(2.6−0.9+1.0±0.6)×10−4 and B(χc2→ΛΛ¯)=(3.3−1.3+1.5±0.7)×10−4. results compared model predictions.Received 7 April 2003DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.67.112001©2003 American Physical Society

The epigenetic process of RNA-directed DNA methylation (RdDM) regulates the expression genes and transposons. However, little is known about involvement RdDM in response maize (Zea mays) to salt stress. Here, we isolated a salt-sensitive mutant cloned underlying gene, which encodes KOW DOMAIN-CONTAINING TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR1 (KTF1), an essential component pathway. Evolutionary analysis identified two homologs KTF1 (ZmKTF1A ZmKTF1B) with highly similar patterns. Whole-genome bisulfite...

The branching fraction of the psi(2S) decay into tau pair has been measured for first time using BES detector at Beijing Electron-Positron Collider. result is $B_{\tau\tau}=(2.71\pm 0.43 \pm 0.55) \times 10^{-3}$, where error statistical and second systematic. This value, along with those fractions e+e- mu+mu this resonance, satisfy well relation predicted by sequential lepton hypothesis. Combining all these values leptonic width resonance total determined to be $(252 37)$ keV.
