We report on measurements of the differential cross section $d\ensuremath{\sigma}/d\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ and first measurement analyzing power ${A}_{y}$ in $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}(1232)$ excitation energy region reaction $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{{pp}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ where ${{pp}}_{s}$ is a $^{1}S_{0}$ proton pair. The experiment has been performed with ANKE spectrometer at COSY-J\"ulich. data reveal peak dependence forward section, minimum zero degrees its...
The cross section for inclusive multipion production in the $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}ppX$ reaction was measured at COSY-ANKE four beam energies, 0.8, 1.1, 1.4, and 2.0 GeV, low excitation energy final $pp$ system, such that diproton quasiparticle is $^{1}S_{0}$ state. At three higher missing-mass ${M}_{X}$ spectra show a strong enhancement ${M}_{X}$, corresponding to an Abashian-Booth-Crowe effect moves steadily larger values as increased. Despite structure looking very different 0.8...
The pp -> {pp}_s pi0 differential cross section has been measured with the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-Juelich for seven proton beam energies T_p between 0.5 and 1.97 GeV. By selecting pairs an excitation energy of less than 3 MeV it is ensured that final system in 1S0 state. In region theta_{pp}^{cm} < 18 deg, data reveal a forward dip =< 1.4 GeV whereas peaking seen dependence shows broad peak 0.6-0.8 region, probably associated Delta(1232) excitation, minimum Some these features...
The proton analysing power in $\vec{p}p$ elastic scattering has been measured at small angles COSY-ANKE 796 MeV and five other beam energies between 1.6 2.4 GeV using a polarised beam. asymmetries obtained by detecting the fast ANKE forward detector or slow recoil silicon tracking telescope are completely consistent. Although results agree well with many published data MeV, also most recent partial wave solution this energy, higher lie above predictions of angles. An updated phase shift...
In order to establish links between p-wave pion production in nucleon-nucleon collisions and low energy three-nucleon scattering, an extensive programme of experiments on is currently underway at COSY-ANKE. The final proton pair detected very excitation energy, leading S-wave diproton, denoted here as {pp}_s. We now report measurements the differential cross section analysing power pol{p}p->{pp}_s pi^0$ reaction 353 MeV. Both observables can be described terms s- d-wave and, by using phase...
The fundamental reaction $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{pp{}}_{s}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, where ${pp{}}_{s}$ is a proton pair with low excitation energy, has been observed the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-J\"ulich for beam energies of ${T}_{p}=0.353$, 0.500, and 0.550 GeV. This equivalent to photodisintegration free $^{1}S_{0}$ diproton photon ${E}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}\ensuremath{\approx}{T}_{p}/2$. differential cross sections measured c.m. angles...
We propose to use an internal polarized hydrogen storage cell gas target in the AD ring determine for first time two total spin-dependent pbar-p cross sections sigma_1 and sigma_2 at antiproton beam energies range from 50 450 MeV. The data obtained are of interest by themselves general theory interactions since they will provide a experimental constraint spin-spin dependence nucleon-antinucleon potential energy interest. In addition, measurements polarization buildup stored antiprotons...
The differential cross section for proton-proton elastic scattering has been measured at a beam energy of 1.0 GeV and in 200 MeV steps from 1.6 to 2.8 centre-of-mass angles the range 12-16 degrees 25-30 degrees, depending on energy. Absolute normalisations typically 3% were achieved by studying losses circulating COSY storage ring as it passed repeatedly through windowless hydrogen target ANKE magnetic spectrometer. It is shown that data have significant impact upon partial wave analysis....
Hard bremsstrahlung production in proton–proton collisions has been studied with the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-Jülich energy range of 353–800 MeV by detecting final proton pair {pp}s from pp → {pp}sγ reaction very low excitation energy. Differential cross sections were measured small diproton c.m. angles 0° to 20° and average over this angular interval reveals a broad peak beam around 650 FWHM ≈ 220 MeV, suggesting influence Δ(1232)N intermediate states. Comparison deuteron...
The transverse spin correlations ${A}_{x,x}$ and ${A}_{y,y}$ have been measured in the $\stackrel{P\vec}{d}\stackrel{P\vec}{p}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{p}_{\text{spec}}{{pp}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ reaction at COSY-ANKE 353 MeV per nucleon. Here ${{pp}}_{s}$ denotes a proton-proton pair with low excitation energy, which is dominantly ${}^{1}{S}_{0}$ state. By measuring three protons final state it was possible to extract events where there spectator proton ${p}_{\text{spec}}$...
Values of the proton analysing power in $pd\to{}^{3}\textrm{He}\,\pi^0/^{3}\textrm{H}\,\pi^+$ reactions at 350-360~MeV per nucleon were obtained by using a polarised beam incident on deuterium cluster-jet target and with deuteron cell filled hydrogen. These results have much larger angular coverage than existing data. First measurements are also presented vector deuteron-proton spin correlations. Data correlation small angles 600~MeV nucleon, though this energy was more restricted even when...
The vector and tensor analysing powers, Ay Ayy, of the pd→→n{pp}s charge-exchange reaction have been measured at a beam energy 600 MeV COSY-ANKE facility by using an unpolarised proton incident on internal storage cell target filled with polarised deuterium gas. low recoiling protons were in pair silicon tracking telescopes placed either side target. Putting cut 3 diproton excitation ensured that two dominantly S01 state, here denoted {pp}s. polarisation gas was established through...
The recent results of dibaryon studies at ANKE are being presented, along with our plans concerning further on the topic. D 03 resonance has been observed in coherent pd → +( ππ ) 0 channel, accompanied by ABC effect. Possible implications on this phenomenon are discussed.
A process of inelastic nucleon-nucleon collisions with the impact parameter less than a radius nucleon quark core is considered. The criteria for selection such from full array interactions are suggested.
