We report on measurements of the differential cross section $d\ensuremath{\sigma}/d\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ and first measurement analyzing power ${A}_{y}$ in $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}(1232)$ excitation energy region reaction $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{{pp}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ where ${{pp}}_{s}$ is a $^{1}S_{0}$ proton pair. The experiment has been performed with ANKE spectrometer at COSY-J\"ulich. data reveal peak dependence forward section, minimum zero degrees its...
In order to establish links between p-wave pion production in nucleon-nucleon collisions and low energy three-nucleon scattering, an extensive programme of experiments on is currently underway at COSY-ANKE. The final proton pair detected very excitation energy, leading S-wave diproton, denoted here as {pp}_s. We now report measurements the differential cross section analysing power pol{p}p->{pp}_s pi^0$ reaction 353 MeV. Both observables can be described terms s- d-wave and, by using phase...
The fundamental reaction $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{pp{}}_{s}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, where ${pp{}}_{s}$ is a proton pair with low excitation energy, has been observed the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-J\"ulich for beam energies of ${T}_{p}=0.353$, 0.500, and 0.550 GeV. This equivalent to photodisintegration free $^{1}S_{0}$ diproton photon ${E}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}\ensuremath{\approx}{T}_{p}/2$. differential cross sections measured c.m. angles...
Hard bremsstrahlung production in proton–proton collisions has been studied with the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-Jülich energy range of 353–800 MeV by detecting final proton pair {pp}s from pp → {pp}sγ reaction very low excitation energy. Differential cross sections were measured small diproton c.m. angles 0° to 20° and average over this angular interval reveals a broad peak beam around 650 FWHM ≈ 220 MeV, suggesting influence Δ(1232)N intermediate states. Comparison deuteron...
The transverse spin correlations ${A}_{x,x}$ and ${A}_{y,y}$ have been measured in the $\stackrel{P\vec}{d}\stackrel{P\vec}{p}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{p}_{\text{spec}}{{pp}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ reaction at COSY-ANKE 353 MeV per nucleon. Here ${{pp}}_{s}$ denotes a proton-proton pair with low excitation energy, which is dominantly ${}^{1}{S}_{0}$ state. By measuring three protons final state it was possible to extract events where there spectator proton ${p}_{\text{spec}}$...
Values of the proton analysing power in $pd\to{}^{3}\textrm{He}\,\pi^0/^{3}\textrm{H}\,\pi^+$ reactions at 350-360~MeV per nucleon were obtained by using a polarised beam incident on deuterium cluster-jet target and with deuteron cell filled hydrogen. These results have much larger angular coverage than existing data. First measurements are also presented vector deuteron-proton spin correlations. Data correlation small angles 600~MeV nucleon, though this energy was more restricted even when...
The recent results of dibaryon studies at ANKE are being presented, along with our plans concerning further on the topic. D 03 resonance has been observed in coherent pd → +( ππ ) 0 channel, accompanied by ABC effect. An explanation effect proposed, suggesting to explain it as a kinematic cumulation pion pairs 12 + π d ( I=0 cascade decay channel due predominantly collinear decay. Based this hypothesis, search for 21 signal pp { } s reaction is suggested. p -wave resonances 3 P 2 and have...
The charge exchange of vector polarised deuterons on a hydrogen target has been studied in high statistics experiment at the COSY-ANKE facility deuteron beam energy Td=726MeV. By selecting two fast protons low relative Epp, measured analysing powers and spin correlations are sensitive to interference terms between specific neutron–proton charge-exchange amplitudes neutron kinetic Tn≈12Td=363MeV. An impulse approximation calculation, which takes into account corrections due angular...
The transverse spin correlations Axx and Ayy in the np-> d pi^0 reaction have been measured for first time quasi-free kinematics at COSY-ANKE facility using a polarised deuteron beam incident on hydrogen cell target. results obtained neutron energies close to 353 MeV 600 are good agreement with partial wave analysis of data isospin-related pp-> pi^+ reaction, though present cover also small-angle region, which was largely absent from these data.
