Polarized light emission from polymer emitting diodes (LEDs) is one step towards improved sources of background illumination for efficient liquid crystal displays. It demonstrated that the fabrication organic LEDs based on poly( p ‐phenylene)s by Langmuir–Blodgett technique enables polarization emitted to be controlled. The ratio intensity polarized parallel and perpendicular dipping direction highest reported so far. Photoluminescence electroluminescence spectra are presented discussed.
