Though an excellent protection material, graphene possesses unpleasant adverse side effect, which refers to the phenomenon that can aggravate metal corrosion. This effect potentially impedes its applications in protection. work aims demonstrate a facile encapsulation strategy effectively inhibit corrosion-promotion activity of graphene. We encapsulated reduced oxide (rGO) with (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). The composite rGO (rGO@APTES) has flake-like structure high aspect-ratio....
The corrosion-promotion activity of graphene is inhibited when encapsulated in insulating SiO2 because can act as a spacer isolating from the metal substrate so to prevent graphene–metal micro-galvanic corrosion. Incorporating rGO@SiO2 nanosheets into polymer coating also greatly enhances corrosion resistance coating.
Globally, cardio-cerebrovascular diseases (CCVDs) are the leading cause of death, and thus development novel strategies for preventing treating such is in urgent need. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), used thousands years Asia other regions, has been proven effective certain disorders. As a long-time medicinal herb TCM, Ginkgo biloba leaves (GBLs), have widely to treat various including CCVDs. However, underlying molecular mechanisms herbs these still unclear. Presently, by incorporating...
Annually, tens of millions first-ever strokes occur in the world; however, currently there is lack effective and widely applicable pharmacological treatments for stroke patients. Herbal medicines, characterized as multi-constituent, multi-target multi-effect, have been acknowledged with conspicuous effects treating stroke, attract extensive interest researchers although mechanism action yet unclear. In this work, we introduce an innovative systems-pharmacology method that combines...
Inflammation is a hallmark of many diseases like diabetes, cancers, atherosclerosis and arthritis. Thus, lots concerns have been raised toward developing novel anti-inflammatory agents. Many alternative herbal medicines possess excellent properties, yet their precise mechanisms action are to be elucidated. Here, systems pharmacology approach based on large number chemical, biological pharmacological data was developed exemplified by probe herb Folium Eriobotryae, widely used clinical botanic...
Improving the thermal and chemical stabilities of classical polymer membranes will be beneficial to extend their applications in high temperature or aggressive environment. In this work, asymmetric ultrafiltration prepared from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) were used fabricate cross-linking (CLA) PAN via air improve stabilities. The effects parameters such as holding time on structure, gas separation performance, investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron...
