Three dendron−linear diblock copolymers with a polyene-type nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophore incorporated in the dendron segment and polystyrene as linear block were synthesized to investigate effect of nanostructures on electrooptic (EO) properties. In this letter, important factors for white light emitting diodes (LED) packaging, including lens encapsulation, reflectivity of cavity reflectors, and phosphor concentration are studied. Simulation as well the corresponding experiment shows that reflectors in packaging is more effective than encapsulation to reach high efficiency.
