The present study provides an environmentally benevolent synthesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs). Morphological characteristics the fabricated were assessed by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-Spectroscopy. XRD pattern synthesized showed that had a tetragonal crystalline structure with particle size 20–40 nm. photocatalytic efficacy developed nanomaterials was investigated in relation to...
The effect of UV light on growth, biomass, lipid accumulation and biodiesel properties microalgae was studied. A Microalgae strain Chlorella sorokiniana UUIND6 cultivated for 14 days as under LED (Control) were exposed to (280–320 nm) in the middle photoperiod 3 days. growth rate analyzed by spectrophotometer cell counting, while oil improved Nile red method. Results showed that treated algal cells less growth. FAMEs profile mainly contains hexadecanoic acid (C16), stearic (C18) fatty acids....
The present investigation aimed to develop jamun pulp, seed, mango kernel, and flax seed powder fortified low-fat functional cookies. A total of five formulations, including control (C, T1, T2, T3 T4) were prepared with varying amounts kernel powder. overall acceptability score was maximum for T1 minimum C Total flavonoid content T4 (668.3 ± 4.8 mgQE/100 g) least (483.6 5.6 g), while the phenolic highest (925.3 8.8 mgGAE/100 g 836.83 3.47 g, respectively) Protein (%) (17.5 0.06 16.36 0.056,...
The utilisation of a recently developed green approach for synthesising iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe2O3NPs) is highly promising, given its low toxicity and environmentally benevolent attributes. In this investigation, Fe2O3 NPs were produced through the ferric chloride hexahydrate, incorporating Permelia perleta ;(lichen) extract under standard atmospheric conditions. development was verified systematic characterization process by employing UV FTIR, XRD, FE SEM studies. average crystallite...
Salmonella-related gastroenteritis and diarrheal infections pose significant health risks across all age groups in the developing countries. The high consumption of raw green leafy vegetables, particularly among health-conscious younger populations, may further increase risk infection if food preparation is inadequate. In current study, 645 vegetable samples were collected over year, 61 tested positive for bacterial contamination Salmonella spp. highest was recorded cabbage (Brassica...
Abstract The present study investigates the hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) of harmful green macroalgal blooms at a temperature 270 °C with, and without catalyst with holding time 45 min. effect different catalysts on HTL product yield was also studied. Two separation methods were used for recovering biocrude oil from solid phase. On comparision other catalyst, Na 2 CO 3 found to produce higher yiled bio-oil. total bio-oil 20.10% , 18.74% TiO 17.37% CaO, 14.6% catalyst. aqueous phase...
The hydrothermal liquefaction of municipal sludge was investigated under isothermal conditions (255 °C, 45 min) with TiO2 as a catalyst. In this study, we used two separation methods (an organic solvent-assisted extraction method and the Soxhlet method) for production bio-crude oil. maximum yield oil 20.7 wt. % reported method. aqueous phase examined TN, TP, COD, TOC to determine suitability microalgae cultivation. Four strains oleaginous were cultivated in phase. results show that growth...
The present study aimed at the numerical optimization of process variables to analyze effect hypochlorous acid (HOCl) treatment on postharvest quality characteristics tomatoes. Box Behnken design was used optimize variables, including concentration (40, 60, and 80 ppm), pH (4, 5, 6), dipping time (2, 4, 6 min), their responses, i.e., weight loss (%), redness (a*), microbial load (log cfu/ml). optimized values HOCl were found be (80 (4), (6 corresponding responses 11.69% (weight loss), 21.09...
The present investigation has focused on developing an eco-friendly method to extract bioactive compounds from orange peel using natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES). NADES-II composed of choline chloride (ChCl) and ethylene glycol (1:2) 50% water shows the maximal extraction yield with higher antioxidant activity in terms DPPH ABTS scavenging a high total phenolic content (TPC) flavonoid (TFC). microwave-assisted (MAE) process was optimized response surface methodology (RSM) artificial...
