A vehicle routing problem in timber logistics incorporating a comprehensive carbon emission reduction strategy is proposed. Carbon based on an optimization model established to minimize the total transportation cost while reducing emissions and empty-loading mileage. To solve efficiently, hybrid algorithm that combines greedy with genetic featuring adaptive elimination mechanisms developed. The featured crossover mutation probabilities eliminates unsuitable individuals mechanisms, which...

In the carbon neutrality era, firms are facing increasingly intense environmental pressure and market competition. This paper considers two competitive supply chains with consumers’ low-carbon preference under cap-and-trade regulation, each of which consists one manufacturer retailer. Considering competition or integration in vertical horizontal directions, four different chain structures modeled. By applying a game-theoretical approach, equilibrium pricing, emission reduction (CER) level,...

The key generation rate (KGR) performance of wireless physical layer (PHY) can be limited by the quasi-static slow fading environment. In this work, we aim to exploit radio environment reconfiguration ability enabled reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) improve KGR PHY generation. By rapidly changing RIS configurations, randomness or entropy channel significantly increased, thus improving KGR. To achieve high while keeping low bit disagreement ratio (BDR), for first time, propose a...

This study explores a road–rail intermodal routing problem. To improve the carbon efficiency of transportation, reducing CO2 emissions is considered by routing. Soft time windows are incorporated into to optimize timeliness first-mile pickup and last-mile delivery services in transportation. The further modeled time-dependent fuzzy environment where average truck speeds road depend on departure times simultaneously along with rail capacities. speed leads fuzziness three aspects, including...

The objective of vehicle routing problem is usually to minimize the total traveling distance or cost. But in practice, there are a lot problems needed fastest completion time. milk-run (MRVRP) widely used distribution. mutation ACO given solve MRVRP with time this paper. VRP introduced first, and then customer division method based on dynamic optimization split algorithm transform into finding optimal order. At last numerical examples verify effectiveness algorithm.

In the era of sustainable development, reducing carbon emissions and achieving neutrality are gradually becoming a consensus for our society. This study explores firms’ incentive mechanisms emission abatement in two-echelon supply chain under cap-and-trade regulation, where consumers exhibit low-carbon awareness. To boost manufacturer’s motivation abatement, retailer can provide four strategies, i.e., price-only (PO), cost-sharing (CS), revenue-sharing (RS), both (cost revenue) sharing (BS)....

Even though active noise control (ANC) technique has been widely investigated and proven its efficiency for low-frequency vehicle interior control, current applications are mainly the steady process such as powertrain uniform road noise. When impulsive disturbances due to bumps or potholes present, they may hinder performance of ANC system. One reasons is that prevalent algorithm, namely filtered- x least mean square (FxLMS) developed assuming signals follow normal distribution. The impact a...
